Moxy NYC Downtown

The room was very nice and very convenient to walkable sites. Check in was pleasant, odd desk area. Elevators are super slow and 2 out of order during part of the stay. This is a party hotel for young people with very loud music. Waited for 10 min to get our free drink and watched the bartender wait on all the young gals, gave our drink tickets to someone else and left. If you want ice or a mini fridge/ plan a long wait for it to arrive. Nice bed and room amenities. It was perfect for our needs.

Amazing Staff

Stayed here with my two best friends, the views where amazing, a great location near good places to eat. The only thing that bother me is that one of window's curtain wouldnt closed and we called room service to come fix it and they never did. other than that the people were really nice and the rooms were nice and clean.

Good price for what it is and really good lounge area which had the World Cup on.

Great stay and very good location for exploring the city. Loved the daily $15 credit. The only down side was not having coffee in the room and only having the free coffee on the 3rd floor from 6-7pm. It feels like adding free coffee until 10am should be easily doable.

The property was clean and welcoming. The staff at the front desk when you first walk in were welcoming and gave great customer service. My guest and I arrived earlier than check in and wanted to leave our luggage. They allowed us to check in early which was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like is that they ran out of wash cloths so we had to use hand towels as wash clothes to wash our body.

Cute cool modern design. Love the upstairs lobby with free skeeball, dj and drag queen bingo on Saturday. Room was comfortable and clean. Around the corner from the subway made this super convenient to everything.

Stayed at Moxy NYC Downtown for one night while in the city for an event. Room was compact and efficient. No enclosed storage, so if we were staying for multiple days, the room could become disorganized. To get to the hotel rooms, you need to take two different elevators…which are not the fastest. Conveniently located to transportation. Would stay here again for a short visit.

Phone to front desk and light switches were installed with lettering far below eye level. Almost impossible to read. Check-in desk area was very very small. Discouraged effective interaction with hotel staff.

The location, the views The rooms are VERY small and little to no storage space. Having to take two different elevators up is very annoying. The elevator scanning card situation didn’t work half the time. The lounge that’s open to the public causes A LOT of extra traffic and extra elevator waiting time. There’s no laundry and the chat with staff feature was never responded to.

Check in on lounge floor was loud - couldn't hear the person say most things. ok vibe for having a drink but shouldn't be where you check in.

Great stay at the Moxy Downtown! The daily bar credit was a nice perk, the location was perfect for all my events, and the indoor basketball court during the NBA Finals was epic. Would definitely stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
