Perfect location for my trip and close to public transport and within a cool Brooklyn neighborhood. Easy check in and great responsiveness about my middle of the night arrival aided by flight delays Clean, quiet, simply furnished - everything you need; nothing you don’t. Would definitely recommend to friends and family! Bathrooms had been updated with narrow shelf over the sink that made it impossible to properly access. The sink. Would have been better to put an etagere over the toilet. Hallway conversations clearly audible - luckily guests were 90 % quiet and respectful. Not sure why I had both a shower curtain and a glass shower screen - the curtain rod fell on me during my first shower. No harm done but a bit of a shock.

Small room but cute hotel! Felt safe and secure.

This was our second time staying at The Industrialist; we had stayed back in 2023 when it was operated under Sonder. It’s an easy to navigate and perfect location if you’re looking to stay in Brooklyn— there’s bodegas, coffee shops, and a subway all within walking distance. It would honestly be a 4-star if they fixed a few things. For example, the string to pull our blinds was broken so we had no way to open the blackout curtains even if we wanted to. The holder for the soap was broken. The sink is poorly engineered so brushing your teeth or washing your face in it is impossible to do without causing water to go everywhere. All in all, minor details but would take the rating and reputation of the place up a notch. I’ll mention that the front desk staff are all lovely and make you feel welcomed every time you step in so thank you to them!!!

Stayed overnight to attend Ariana Grande with my teen daughter. Location was great and easy to get to the Barclays Center!
-
Property was walkable to shops and plenty of food and restaurants and places to hang out very close to the Barclays. You can walk there.

We thought it was in a nice area! But they were never any parking until far away That the bathroom sink was on the outside of the bathroom couldn’t brush out teeth properly because you had to bend your head in a wild potion to get the water in your mouth

The location is really good, right by the subway entrance, but that's about it. Poor cleaning, bad service, bad smell all over the hotel, my AC wasn't working, I had to call for maintenances 3x on the same night, and until I left was still malfunctioning, the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything, conversations, alarms, toilet flushing, phone vibrating, etc. The bathroom was also dirty, I don't know where they took the pictures shown on booking but thats definitely not the room I got.

Ok location for people familiar with Brooklyn No air conditioning, no water drainage, door wouldn’t open to bedroom, door wouldn’t lock, felt generally not safe.
-
Great location and communication from the hotel regarding my late arrival. It was quiet and comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay.
-
I hated my entire time there I had to leave in the middle of the night at one in the morning because there was a terrible smell coming from the room as well as there was no air conditioning but they have no fan or no way of letting her circulate in the room
-
I like the location of the property I dislike the room that I booked didn’t have a refrigerator. And the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom. Plus while taking a shower, the curtains wasn’t long enough so the water spilled into the bathroom floor.

Great location, clean and quiet...very small, no sink or mirror inside bathroom

The hotel is small and cute. I do think they can do a better job cleaning the rooms. The headboard looked like it has never been vacuumed since an upholstery headboard. The tv did not extend much to see if from the bed, there was a huge empty space where they could have had a small couch to sit so we had no other choice than to sit on the bed. The sink in the bathroom was so small that when I lifted my head to see myself brush my teeth it was difficult. Check out was at 11am by 10:50 they were knocking on our door to make sure we were going to check out. Honestly, for a small hotel it has potential but they do need better maintenance and hospitality. Although it was one night and it served its purpose, I wouldn’t stay there again.
