My daughter and I had a very good rest after coming from the 4th of July fireworks. The only thing is the flooring of the room, it is sticky. Our shoes are making squeaky sound so we need socks, but the sole didn’t turned much dark yet we felt uncomfortable. Overall it was a great hotel and the location was perfect for travellers. Thanks

After checkout I realized I left a couple of shirts in the closet and a phone charger and called the hotel a couple times to see if the cleaning staff had found it, was promised a call back – never happened. I also emailed the manager Jessica which I got no response. I called yet again the following day and the staff said that nothing was found. Which I'm 100% sure those items were left in the room. The staff were helpful and polite but overall our experience here was poor. The construction of the room was also very shoddy, "landlord special" level.

It was convenient to Park Slope though. Probably will not stay there next time.
-
My room didn’t have air conditioning, they did provide me a fan but the 100 degrees temperature made the fan useless
-
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken and also the water was turned off for 1/2 the day.

It's small and basic.. Just what we expected. Nice and clean. I'd say 'old school' in the way we were booked in etc. If you want basic, affordable and clean then it's great.

The room was cleaned. Staff was helpful. Love the area plenty of stores nearby. Also trains nearby

The rooms are for toddlers. The sink is for a toddler and so is the bathroom.I’m

The bathrooms are fine. All in all, I would definitely book future stays here for short trips. Staff were very pleasant, and helpful. They rushed to get my room ready hours before check in as I landed in JFK at 5am. 10/10 would recommend.

Great price for the neighborhood. The room was small but clean and staff were super nice. Close to lots of restaurants and bars. The only hang up was that they had planned maintenance work, so there was no water for a couple hours. They let me know ahead of time, but the work also started in the morning, before check out. Why didn’t they just wait until after check out when the least number of customers would be in the building? Otherwise, no gripes, would stay again.

Clean and solid AC! Staff was incredibly helpful!
-
Nice stay just wish it was a little less noisy at nights. Too many people throwing doors. Why can't they hold it to slow close
-
All was good except the noise on floor when people throw there doors throughout the late hours

I booked a 3-night stay at The Industrialist, but the conditions were so poor that I couldn't even spend a single night there. Upon entering, the room had a foul odor. To make matters worse, the bathroom sink was incredibly small and poorly designed, causing water to spill directly onto the floor whenever it was turned on. The hotel and room were so disappointing that I checked out immediately on my first night without sleeping there at all. Luckily, a gracious friend allowed me to stay at her place instead. This is a horrible hotel, and I absolutely do not recommend it. 06/26/2026

The hotel staff were kind, respectful, and accommodating throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel was experiencing issues with the air conditioning. While the problem was not fully resolved, the staff made an effort to accommodate us by providing a fan, which was appreciated. The location is not far from the Barclays.

Great stuff, everything you need is close by, an amazing air conditioning
-
Was unable to fully accommodate early check-in request; lobby is small and dark
-
Staff was amazing from the beginning to very end. Cute lil room for the price

The rooms are very small and our bed had walls on 3 sides so if there's more than one of you, you are climbing over eachother to get in/out of bed. It's incredibly bare bones. We had a bed, a very small desk and a bathroom, basically nowhere to put your clothes, no fridge to keep water or anything. Bathroom was OK, beds were comfy and the place was clean and tidy enough. It wasn't awful but it was incredibly expensive for what we got. It was pretty extortionate for the offering to be honest. Would stay here again? Maybe for a night or two at a good price but a week here was only bearable because we spent most of our time out in the city.

Overall the staff was great, but it's definitely one of the more paired down experiences a hotel can offer. Basically just rooms and a lobby with nothing else to offer. The rooms are tiny with awkward layouts, but par for the course with a cheaper NYC hotel. The area can't be beat, fantastic and very walkable. The lobby smelled a bit of sewage , all the doors on the floor slam (hard to sleep) and the room walls were paper thin, but otherwise it was a fine hotel.
