Small room

Great hotel in the heart of Chelsea, close to the highline, all the great restaurants and bars and the subway. The rooms are sized in line with what you’d expect for Manhattan, mine was so quiet I couldn’t believe I was in NYC. Whilst the room has no amenities the gym, reception area and cafe are good and the staff are so friendly. I’ll definitely be staying again.

This is my new favorite hotel in nyc. Great location, incredible rooms, very comfortable stay.

The Moore is located in a great area of Chelsea for walkability to the High Line, Little Island, Pier 62, Chelsea Market, The Empire State Building, Broadway and more. The staff, especially Juan, were super friendly and accommodating. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the roof top bar with views of the Empire State Building at night!

Staff was so lovely but the rooms are too small for the price. Queen bed with a few feet of margin around it and a bathroom. They don’t offer a luggage rack bc there isn’t enough room to keep a carryon suitcase open and be able to walk around the bed. Also no closet, no desk, no coffee maker. There was a cabinet with a hang bar for clothing, but it was too small for my rollaway suitcase to fit in, so I wound up sleeping with my suitcase on the bed. For over $600 night plus various taxes and fees, you could find a much better room in the neighborhood.

Nice hotel. Perfect for the one night stay I had. Great location. Very walkable to major NYC attractions. They also provided a $40 credit to spend at the rooftop or restaurant.

Property is well maintained but the room we had was a bit too small. The complimentary tokens were a nice touch.

An absolute gem for a one traveler. The kindest staff in NY so far. The only down side is the size of the room and the gym for those staying more than a couple of nights.

I walked into the room, saw it was small, and wanted to put my stuff on the desk which was on the other side of the bed. I walked forward, didn't realize the gap between the bed and wall was exactly the same width as my legs (I'm quite thin), hit my shin, fell onto the bed, spilled water everywhere and started bleeding. I went down to ask if they had a bigger room to let the guy know I'd bled. He briefly tried to find a room (they were full, fair enough), and then said "we're sorry" and seem completely disinterested in my injury. A week later I'm still bruised. Aside from working a hotel, a normal nice person might have said, "I'm sorry - are you ok? Do you need a bandaid?"

Friendly staff and were all ready to help whenever I needed. The room is small but doesn't feel crammed, so if you're considering getting a smaller room I was pleasantly surprised. Bathroom is well equipped and good water pressure. The pastries are really good! Highly recommend getting the pain au chocolat. The surrounding area has great restaurant, bar and cafe options, so would recommend taking your time exploring as well. The room cleaning was not consistent; towels and sheets were clean and changed according to your needs, but I felt like the floors and surfaces were not being swept/vacuumed (found dust and small debris even though they've been in my room for cleaning). As someone with allergic rhinitis I would've appreciate a bit more of care on that part. My suggestion is to specifically ask for it, I'm sure the staff will help on that.

The hidden rooftop bar makes this place extra special. Amazing service, great location, friendly staff. 10/10, would return anytime! Thank you Moore!

Perfect size room…great bathroom!

This property was modern and very chic and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever needed. The only con, rooms are a little smaller than expected and from what is shown in photos. But overall wonderful stay!

Great job! Will definitely stay again.
