Location location location Pool had to be reserved after 11 am. The TV in our room worked only half of the time. Brought it up to the staff and kept feeling like a can kicked down the road

The room was very pretty and cool, awesome view! Enjoyed the rooftop bar/restaurant and pool. Everyone was really friendly, the decor was beautiful. I knew I liked Virigins Hotel from New Orleans and New York did not disappoint!

Location The pool was as big as your thumb and had 30 twenty somethings acting like it was a nightclub all day.

I liked the comfortable bed but my room was very hot and stuffy and the AC didn't work so the next day I got another room with ac. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee maker in the room and the room didn't have a "Please do not disturb" card to hang on the door handle.

I really appreciated Abraham from the front desk. Great person with wonderful hospitality approach, which helped a lot making our stay amazing. Thank you Abraham!! That the pool is small and very busy and open for hotel guests only in the mornings.

However, some of the towels are threadbare and the shower seal was broken but the biggest annoyance for us was that we paid for a hotel with a pool and were not allowed to use the pool without paying around $50 per person per time after 11am. And you have to book it in advance! Never before have we stayed at a hotel and been told we have to pay a premium to use the facilities eg the pool. A spa, maybe, but a pool: no. We booked this hotel solely because it had the pool so it really did cast a big cloud on our trip. I sent an email to Virgin hotels about this and did not receive a response.
