Friendly staff. Location is out of the way. Area a bit sketchy at first sight, but had no, zero, issues with the local residents.

Staff was helpful. The room was cleaned every day. The room itself cleanish, but the hotel itself looked pretty dirty to me. The lift, the windows, looked juicy. Yikes

The blow dryer in my room did not work so I could not fix my hair. That in the cash deposit that’s thrown at you when you walk in the door when you’ve already paid through Expedia. It’s ridiculous that you were asked to give cash when you arrive as a deposit.

My go to hotel!. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Location is perfect, there are couple of delis around and food stores. Location is safe and is close to the train station.

Staff were really helpful and helped to keep my review as a positive. The room was very basic. Not the cleanest but everything worked including the AC albeit we turned it off as it was a bit noisy. There was no shower gel provided but two tiny pieces of soap, a tiny bottle of shampoo and a tiny bottle of conditioner. Good job my partners bald ! 😂. Towels were provided and we had an ice bucket with a machine located near our room. Location was ok . We walked about 20 minutes to Vernon Blvd and found a lovely bar so that was good. On arrival there was a sign saying $60 cash deposit for walk in and other guests and $100 cash for Expedia guests. No idea why it was more for Expedia. We took photos of minor damage in the room just in case but had no issue getting this deposit back when we left. We arrived quite late and left quite early the next day so was ok for our needs. Main positive was the friendly staff .

Un hôtel qui fait l'affaire compte tenu du prix. Bien situé car seulement à 20 min du centre de New York. En arrivant le soir avec nos valises nous n'étions pas rassurés par rapport au quartier mais finalement tout s'est bien passé. Le ménage était correct, mis à part au niveau des fenêtres en bas au niveau de l'encadrement ou le nettoyage n'est apparemment jamais fait... c'est l'odeur (de cigarette) en m'approchant de la fenêtre qui m'a fait voir la saleté... pas ragoutant pour le coup. Sinon, le personnel était très sympathique, que ce soit le monsieur à l'accueil ou la dame de ménage.

The bathroom was clean This hotel advertised on your site as a non-smoking hotel. When I entered my room, the smell of smoke was very, very strong. The air conditioning was on, but it did not reduce the smoke smell. I went downstairs to ask for a different room, but the front desk was closed, no one there. I phoned but no answer. I yelled and no response. On your site they say they are open 24/7. Another lie. I am allergic to smoke and had to spend the whole night breathing it. I paid $150 for one miserable night. The hotel misrepresents itself on your site. I am hereby asking for a refund.

It needs $60 cash deposit, but staff helpfully allowed me to deposit it on second day because I arrived very late without cash. Room was not cleaned enough and too small. Amenities were not well maintained. However, it may be the most affordable option in LIC.
