Comfort Suites Newark - Harrison

Basement hallway smells like it was recently flooded. Someone was sleeping in the basement lobby area. Do not recommend staying here with your kids.

It was clean The manager was very nasty when asking her about the deposit that was not on my booking information n also that i had to pay for parking which never in my like if paid for parking at a hotel

Place was very close to the venue we where going too. The older receptionist was a little too much. I ask for extra towels and blankets and I felt i had too fight for those items. But she did help with wifi connection

Excellent service, if I'm in the area again this would be the hotel I'd stay at

Good and clean

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always been an overall positive experience. Never had any quality or safety concerns. Small inconveniences like light leaking through the shades at night, especially in front facing rooms. You can also hear other patrons either upstairs or across the hall.

This was a great place to stay! While the area may not be the safest, the hotel felt very safe and the parking was safe! The staff was very kind and helpful and gave great food recommendations! The only complaint is the loud street outside, but that’s to be expected in a city.

Hotel is on a main road but plenty of parking. Area is fairly industrial with no local restaurants. Rooms are large suites. Bed was comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Staff were helpful but general feel of hotel is dated and well used. Close to Newark airport was reason for staying and price

The room was not up to code. When we made it to our room door it was open. The carpet was old and ripped. Furniture was old with loose knobs. Scratched up wood. The carpet needed to be cleaned because there was something sticky on the carpet. I requested that but it did not get done. Due to the FIFA all hotels were booked so we couldn’t find a different room location. Requested a different room at the hotel but none were available.

The room was clean. It had a frig. The bedding was very comfortable and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. Some weird people hung out in the lobby and in the parking lot. The breakfast was nothing to write about. It was prepackaged food.

Staff was extremely accommodating to us. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was good.

We weren’t there very long to take advantage of the free breakfast or amenities. We stayed one night due to a flight cancellation issue. The place smelled damp and the furniture is outdated. It is okay for a short and place to sleep, but nothing special.

Everything was good Just that it didn’t have water. Like a vending machine was there but no water.
