The place reeked of weed. The smell was coming into the room, even though I booked a non smokers room. the shuttle was helpful, but not worth the stay

Very reasonably priced. Elegant and in a good area. The front desk women, both day and night shift were helpful and personable. I do think the flat surfaces, like bedside tables and the dresser, could be cleaned and sanitized. I really will go back the next time I have a Newark layover.

Some of the least helpful and unmotivated people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Between the 10 phone calls to figure out this nightmare of a SINGLE night stay. Spoke with a manager to help get this mess sorted and was basically told tuff they don’t care. Management needs to reassess how this business is managed and operated. NO ONE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON… ITS YOUR JOB LOL! For being in the hospitality field, I have never been more disappointed with the outcome of an interaction.

No water for drinking

Location is convenient to home. Local establishments are within walking distance. Street parking is readily available. Incidental fee is not required. Located next to military park. Affordable CONS: Rooms are clean but they always smell like smoke. I bring an air purifier when I book here. Transient activity in the area. The AC unit didn’t work well during the hottest days of the summer.

The hotel itself was clean and close to the airport. Staff was super helpful. We had guests on our floor that blasted music until early hours of the morning so it was hard to sleep. There were a lot of vagrants in the area as well so I suggest not to wander around too much.

The building is divine. staff is rude. No sanitation, poor cleaning.

There was a homeless guy that was hanging out in the hallways between floors , I was told by security that his brother had a room there & that he comes by when his brother is there. He should not be roaming around in the halls. I also overheard one of the guest say that someone got robbed at the hotel.

The towels need better cleaning; hair residue was left. Needs better attention to details.

I asked the cleaning lady for an extra wash cloth because there was only 1 in my room which I booked a room with a double bed. There should’ve been at least 2 wash cloths already there.

El personal es amable pero es una amabilidad como falsa e hipócrita, el hotel está bien pero la habitación donde me quede olía a marihuana, en fin todo el área por que fuman mucho por esas área.

Excellent hotel all around. Very reasonable pricing during the week, but can get very expensive on weekends.

The hotel is generally good, but my experience was ruined by a broken AC during a heatwave. I was left without cooling for most of the night, and the staff offered room changes to another broken ac room The problem was only fixed at 4:00 AM, which was far too late. It is disappointing that such a nice hotel lacked the service standards to handle a basic comfort issue effectively."

AC did not work at all in 100 degree weather.

We left and didn’t stay. The parking was a nightmare. Parking attentnded was on something and very rude and argumentative.

Nice hotel about 15 mins walk to Newark Penn station opposite a park. Safe area and well lit at night.
