Ideal location. Very close to the mansions, stores, and restaurants for all meals. Morning pastries and parfaits were absolutely amazing. Dora (maid) had our room cleaned nicely and restocked completely by the time we were back. Front desk attendant was a very nice guy. Room smelled great too. Not a single negative thing about this place. Has free parking too in such a prime location like I said. WOW

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast left at our door the day we checked out was a definite plus. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area!

Awesome location, with access to lots of sights in Newport. All of the staff we encountered were courteous and professional. We would absolutely stay again.

The Bouchard Inn is small, but a very pretty inn. It is conveniently located in the middle of downtown. Very walkable. We walked 7 miles in one day during our stay and felt very safe the whole time. The coffee setup is nice with a refrigerator and complimentary water and juice. We enjoyed our pastry and yogurt w/fruit breakfast.

The house is old and charming with good proximity to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delivered in a bag with one pastry and one yogurt. No choices, small, and disappointing for the room cost and advertised breakfast. The restaurant was not open. The street was noisy however the AC unit blocked out the noise.

This hotel is such a little gem, and I have loved staying here twice now. The staff are lovely, the rooms are perfect and have everything you need and the location is amazing! I know people say it’s loud, but I had one of the rooms overlooking the main strip, and I had AC unit on the entire time and I heard nothing else outside. It was perfect!

We arrived in the early evening, and the check-in was fast and efficient. There was parking in the back of the building, which is very important in Newport. We decided to try the restaurant on the main floor. It was a fine French restaurant and we had a great time conversing with the waiter, who I believe was one of the owners. The food was fabulous! The next morning we asked the front desk for advice on how to go about exploring the mansions and seeing the sites. The woman at the front desk pulled out a map and a marker and drew a plan on the spot. It turned out to be the best route! Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Perfect location and the fresh baked pastries were amazing and nice staff! The bed and pillows were not comfortable. Bed was very stiff and pillows were thin and walls are thin so you can hear people walking down the hallway.

It didn’t have a lobby to sit in or a bar . No comfortable seats in the room . It was noisy until around 10ish then very quiet the rest of the night. The room itself was clean. But hallway . Back steps outside area was not that clean. No robes in the room . Decor pretty sad looking . Needs updated . We spent $1000 for two nights. It is on Thames street but as I discovered not an attractive area to be in. Very junky and touristy .. I would go near Bowen wharf or belvue area or even near cliff walk next time. The only great thing was the delicious pastry delivered to the room in the morning.

could have used a full length mirror in the room. but there was one in the hall so that worked out fine.
