Room, breakfast, location - were good A bit noisy in the morning

I have stayed there many times before TV was terrible!!! It kept buffering Very annoying!!!

Overall, a good stay. The location is perfect, we parked the car once and walked everywhere. The big drawbacks are the noise levels from being on Thames Street (big red flag when they offer ear plugs at check-in), and the blinds are old, 70’s-style Venetian, with slats. They offered no light protection, and we were up with the sun.

Very central and nicely decorated. Even got breakfast to thecroom and some drinks in the fridge. Very hot (even in May) and the aircon made a lot of noice

There should have been a staff member on duty at all times. Access to the building was a little complicated.

Would have preferred sitting outside (too cold) or in a "breakfast room" for breakfast 10% discount offered by restaurant for dinner

We were here for three nights around Memorial Day weekend. Check-in was fast, friendly and there was a handy sheet with relevant information like wifi, codes for front door entry, room entry, and possible noise. Information is regarding room #1 only. It’s a well appointed room with good mattress, coffee/tea area, small fridge/freezer with bottled water, milk, orange juice that’s all refilled every day. Bathroom also looks very nice, water pressure is lacking. Ear plugs were also provided, but I always bring my own. The safe was locked and it wasn’t fixed during our stay. Outside the room is a fold-up table where in between 8 and 8:30 am they put a bag with yoghurt parfaits (yoghurt filled with pieces of variety of fruits) and fresh pastries (we had apple, chocolate and strawberry). I thought it very tasty every time, but if you’re looking for something savory, you’ll be disappointed, We left the breakfast remnants on our breakfast table to be cleaned later by housekeeping. Later that afternoon, the whole table was covered in ants. After a while, staff came up to clean and spray for ants. The days after we made sure no food was left there after breakfast. Noise is mainly coming from the room above, people walking loudly especially at night and, very strange, we could hear every single time when they flushed or used the sink and it truly sounds like that stuff was coming down a pipe through our room. Ear plugs were just useless. Lovely inn, but don’t get room 1!

It was ver nice, but would have preferred non sweets. The apt was a bit mildew smelling, and would have been nice to know it was on the 3rd floor and no elevator.

The Inn was lovely. It was conveniently located, quiet, clean, attractive and comfortable. We loved the little breakfast too! Nothing

The inn felt like you were at home. The staff was very welcoming. We were able to get a reservation for dinner the same day. The food was phenomenal, and our waiter was very helpful explaining the entrées. It was our first time there, and we will certainly return! N/A

The room was spacious and clean. We loved having a stocked fridge of water, juice and milk at our disposal in the room. The Continental bkft was delivered to our room. The pasteries were delivered warm and flaky and the yogurt parfaits were delicious. Shower was hot and the water pressure was great. We have a purple mattress at home so in that dept we are a little used to a certain mattress. We did sleep ok but missed our bed at home.

Such a beautiful place, I never liked a place like this before; would definitely stay here again and again! Nothing

Check in was easy, staff was very kind and approachable, fresh breakfast delivery in the morning was wonderful! Location was perfect and we were able to walk to everything Loud as it's right next to a popular bar however the sound machines were wonderful at blocking out the noise

The location and the warm apple pastry & yogurt parfait delivered to our door.

Perfectly located within walking distance of all the great restaurants downtown. Parking was tight.

The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Breakfast delivered to our door was a real treat, and delicious! The small details make such a huge difference. The cloth napkins and place settings, the dishes, and stocked fridge all add to the experience. Even the note about noise and the ear plugs made you feel “cared for”.

I have never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast before, and this experience will ensure I will absolutely stay again!! I was so incredibly impressed with the thoughtfulness of the stay. The restaurant/check in area was very cute. Upon reception I was brought to my room to ensure the code to enter my room was working and I was just so impressed by the room. It was so cute, the bed was comfortable and the amenities included in the room were lovely. The products smelled great, there was a Keurig with K-cups provided, there was dishware provided as well and a mini fridge with complementary beverages. I appreciated the tourist maps that were also provided on the table. The room was also nice and cool temperature wise. I loved the location, it was very centrally located so I was able to adventure around to check out the sites and restaurants. It was also nice and close to the warf. Parking in Newport is not easy, but it was very easy with plentiful spots in the lot that was located at the rear of the building, this also made bringing luggage in a breeze. 10/10 would recommend and will stay again for sure!
