The first night we were above the bar and it was very loud. The next day we talked with the front desk and they moved us to another room. The Wi-Fi is very weak and the tvs are not smart tvs!

My stay at this timeshare, (which I thought I was booking a hotel) would have been better if I hadn't been "bumped' from my room due to a glitch in Expedia's system. Expedia did not tell me it was a time share. The rooms do need an update, especially the AC units which were old and loud. My stay was for 8 days and no room service was provided which I hear is normal for a time share. The room did have a very small space with microwave, sink, 2 burner stovetop and fridge.

Very hard to rate this place. From convenience perspective, its amazing. Close to all shopping, dinning, ITHF. Very walkable to all. Rooms decor is old. Very old. Air-condition in our room with Air hanger was either loud or not working. Second floor is right above the bar, which does get very loud till 1am. A bit hard to find this place, and parking is available somewhat but very limited but free. Mixed feelings here. Probably will not stay here again.

excellent staff and location, wi fi a disaster

Cleanliness was good. Front desk mediocre. My expensive accommodations were on second floor directly above a bar with loud music. Although I had earplugs sleep was impossible until after bar closed at 1am. Three nights without quiet for sleep was simply my worst experience with accommodations ever!

Location is awesome The room needs new everything. The rug was very old and musty.

The loud music and yelling to 1:00 in the morning

Great location - loved having Smugglers on the ground floor - just wish they would have done brunch or breakfast. Before arriving I asked about some amenities because I recently had surgery that makes getting around a little difficult - I was told a non-slip mat for the shower (they have grab bars in lieu of a seat) and a toilet riser would be put in the bathroom for us but neither was there upon check-in.

Biggest problem was trying to find where to check in!! Seriously, this was not easy. No signage anywhere, and the check-in area was so insignificant, again with no signage, that I didn't know I'd found it. There was nobody there!

The location. I booked and paid for the room more than a month in advance, and confirmed my reservation a week in advance, but when I arrived on the morning of the reservation, my room had been given away to a timeshare owner. They never even called me to let me know! I had to scramble to find a new hotel at the last minute, and then I spent over an hour on phone calls to get refunded. The reservation was non-refundable on my end, but apparently they can cancel freely without notice.

-One elevator. Went down twice on a weekend getaway and on checkout day. Poor response time on repair and no offer of assistance with luggage...and I have a heart condition. Room on sixth floor. - Marijuana was def being used on our floor and infiltrated our room. - Don't like beds next to suite door on main hallway. Opening under door was large and cannot see meeting fire code. Noise from floor came through walls. -Bar on ground floor of hotel was loud at 2 am. If you're into that sort of thing, great spot. Not us. -Manager offered credit for a nights stay but never saw it. Not going back...period. Plenty of other locations along Themes Street.

Loved it

Under what did you like I would check every one, especially location by the water and Thames St. In addition, when we had car trouble, the hotel mechanic went out of his way to crawl under the car and diagnose the problem for us.
-
The room and location. The shower had a water saver on it. You had to chase the water to get wet.

Beautiful view... well put together room.

We enjoyed our stay at Club Wyndham on Thames Street. We liked our Suite. We would stay again on another trip to downtown Newport. We were thankful for the free parking offered also.
-
Otherwise, love it.. Fun bar also

This was a fantastic place to stay. It was right in the middle of the haps of Newport. They had free parking and the room has an absolutely incredible view. It was more like a studio apartment than a hotel room.
