Wished that my room had a frig

This is my second time staying at the hotel and it was as lovely as the first time. The location is perfect, steps from so many restaurants and an easy walk to Bellevue Ave. I loved being right on the harbor with the amazing views and the outdoor patio to sit and enjoy the cool evening breeze. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Newport.

This was the perfect stay for our 2 nights in Newport. The location was lovely, the hotel room and overall hotel were maintained and super clean. Staff was incredibly helpful. The wharf was less than a 3 minute walk, Nitro Bar coffee was a 5 minute walk. All food and drinks we had in the area were great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for their stay in Newport.

Beautiful hotel, great views, will stay here again. Needs a hotel bar inside, near the back door to the water. The restaurant and bar on the other side of the hotel is open to the public and very difficult to get a seat. Would be nice to have a place to get a drink and unwind on the beautiful deck.

The hotel is located very centrally to everything we can walk everywhere. The only downfall I found is at the gym was very small for that size hotel . If they don’t serve breakfast, but they do offer coffee in the morning.

Hotel is well maintained and the staff was excellent.

We booked for a weekend in June well in advance but they told us because we had booked through a third party site we didn’t get the room we expected but was assigned a very small ada accessible room. No closets and we had to request a mini fridge for the room. Our view was a brick wall. Given it was over $750 a night it was a very disappointing experience.

Nice and convenient location to down town and the water. If you want modern bulilding experience and the reasonable price tag Hammett is the place to stay.

First time in Newport and this was the best experience as the hotel was right in the center. Fantastic courtyard overlooking the harbor.
