Love this location!

Overall, this property offers the business/ casual travellers a great location in downtown Norfolk with easy access to waterfront activities, nearby parking, convention spaces, a terrace pool, and limited dining but with better choices nearby. Loss of MacArthur Mall is a significant blow to the downtown vibrancy. And time has exacted its toll on the property which needs cosmetic attention in virtually all areas.

Quick trip to see the USS Wisconsin. We were supposed to stay somewhere else but ended up having to switch locations and this was all we could find. Caroline at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We stayed on a Saturday night and felt that the hotel was overpriced, $399 + taxes and fees which came out to be $460. The Hotel is located within walking distance to the USS Wisconsin as well as the MacArthur Memorial. The hotel was clean and there is a restaurant in the lobby of the hotel as well as a coffee bar to purchase coffee.

We had a great stay room was clean. Shower was great lot of water pressure. Had to ask for towels once and then they made sure to do rest of stay. We will stay there again. Everyone was very pleasant

It’s in a good location to eat and go to events and cruise ships

The cafeteria was well-lit and clean. Staff checked with you periodically. My egg white omelette was perfect. I would have prefer parking to be in the building but I understand

Good hotel for one night. I definitely should have researched more. Paying for parking and breakfast was a surprise. Especially when we could have booked other hotels in the area that offered those things. Great views.

Hotel was close to late night external activities and food.

The room was very spacious and I appreciated a view of the water. The snacks/food in the M Lounge could have been better.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location to the festival. They are more concerned about catering to their elite members. Our check-in was delayed by 1 hour which is 5pm because they allow their elite members a 4 pm checkout! While the lobby is really nice the room was mediocre and out dated. The AC never cooled off, the toilet didn't flush correctly, the water pressure in the shower only worked if the water was on super hot. For the cost this should have been a lot better experience!

Great restaurant! Wonderful view of the harbor. Rooftop patio was perfect for fireworks viewing. Friendly staff. On site Parking lot was full due to Tall Ships festival so we had to park farther away. This was quite inconvenient.

Convenient location to various restaurants and important locations like airport and port. View of water was amazing and friendly staff.

Beautifully decorated. Beds were good. Beautiful view of Harbour from our room. The only thing that was annoying was the sliding glass, barn door opening to the bathroom. While it was esthetically beautiful, it was very noisy when opening and closing it.

The staff were attentive, and the location was excellent, but the housekeeping staff should do a better job dusting. Since it's a Marriott Hotel, I anticipated modern toilets rather than low ones that feel like you're sitting on the floor. Additionally, the molding around the shower stall needs to be replaced.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Really close to perfect. Which today, with how Carly some hotels have gotten, is kind of rare. If you have our experience you will be fine.

The property could benefit from some renovations and updates. The customer service staff were friendly and courteous; however, they were unable to resolve an issue involving a supposed double check-in that appeared in their system when there was actually only one stay. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would consider staying here again for a couple of nights because of its excellent location. Thanks

Thank you for the hospitality and comfortable stay! Staff went above and beyond and it was just a great stay!
