Perfect Stay

I called the front desk Friday and was told engineering was aware and working on it. Friday night, there was still no hot water, so I called again and received the same answer. On Saturday, I went to the front desk in person. An engineering staff member met with me and went to check the boiler room. I was told someone would follow up with me by phone, but no one ever called. No one offered to move me to another room either. Sunday morning, I STILL had no hot water. I went downstairs again around 6:30–6:45 a.m. to complain, and only then was I finally moved to another room. For three days, I had no hot water and had to take cold showers. I also experienced internet connection problems. I understand mechanical problems can happen. What is unacceptable is how this was handled. I reported the issue repeatedly, received no promised follow-up, and was not offered another room until the fourth day. Hot water is a basic hotel amenity, especially at a Marriott. I expected much better service and responsiveness. Extremely disappointing stay.

The hotel and staff were amazing just wished there was a microwave in room for late night snacks.

The room was nice. The pool was in need of cleaning and maintenance. The staff was great!

The hotel was just ok especially with it being a 400 plus price. The worst part was our room was so hot that night it was hard to sleep. There is 24 flights in this hotel, and not enough sets of elevators to accommodate.

2026, august 26, 27, 28, & 29 the showers had no hot water, took ice cold showers. booked a room for king size bed. it wasn't a king size bed, room had no microwave. all four of their elevators stunk really bad. the valet parking had no structure, they couldn't find my account with them, they didn't know what keys belongs to the car. other than that the stay was DECENT.

Construction on Main St almost in front of the hotel with the street partially closed, but were able to unload in front before parking in the Main St garage. No heads up from welcome email received prior . Check in was slow from large crowd but the girl checking us in was very helpful with questions I had about the garages. The room was decent size, clean, with a nice bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Walked to dinner & along the water front so we left our car in the garage until going out the next day. No problem with payment/exit at garage. Arrived back at hotel at 3:45pm to shower for our anniversary diner show and had no hot water. After 15 or so rings front the desk answered & said they were aware & expected it to be corrected soon. No offer to move us so we thought it would come back soon. After cold showers we left for dinner. Came back at 10:30 pm. No hot water, nor at 7am next morning. Called again. Same story. Went to pool around one hr. Came back to no hot water so cold showers again before checking out. Asked the front to adjust the bill and they gave me an attitude saying I would have to call Expedia since I didn’t book directly with Marriott. Offered bonvoy points I didn’t want. I called Expedia & it took a long time on the phone to get Marriott to offer $50 off. I expect 3 things from a hotel. Clean room, decent bed, & hot shower. I didn’t receive a 3rd of that but wasn’t given a 3rd off the bill. AM elevators are utter chaos. No separate elevator for maids.

One bed sheet had a huge hole on the side of it and one of our washcloths was stained. The breakfast that was included with our stay was just ok. It was a breakfast buffet and the food was cold. You have the option of getting an omellette and waffles made fresh, but that was just OK, too. I overheard another guest complaining about the breakfast buffet as well. Parking was expensive at $13 per day.

When I checked in the staff was not that helpful with my expedia reservation saying I booked with a third-party and tried to enhance my eater higher.

Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and restaurant was great!

loved the waterfront access and The Grain Beer pub down the street.

Parking connected us to the catwalk n the riverfront which was very helpful and convenient .
