SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charleston N./Ashley Phosphate

Our stay was ok. Not amazing, not horrible. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool is TINY. The TV didn't work and the person at the front desk acted really weird when I told her about it. Like it was my fault that it was broken. The breakfast was delicious! Which was probably the best part.

There was a dead cockroach inside the built-in air conditioner located near the floor. Even worse, the bathtub had sand that had not been cleaned, and there was someone else’s pubic hair on both the walls and inside the bathtub. It was absolutely disgusting. Taking a shower in those conditions was extremely unpleasant. We arrived late in the evening after a long drive, so we didn’t want to disturb the staff or ask to change rooms. We left early the next morning to continue our trip, so we didn’t have the opportunity to report the issue in person. This level of cleanliness is simply unacceptable for any hotel. I hope the management pays much closer attention to housekeeping in the future.

The room we got was not very clean. The bed mattress was very comfy. Overall it was good. Breakfast was great.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The only complaint was that the pull out sofa had a nest of ants underneath. I’m sure there were crumbs of food attracting the ants and it could have been prevented if the couch was pulled out and vacuumed and clean after every stay.

The pool was really small and not heated.

All the staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was superb! Room was very clean bed very comfortable. Hotel was safe and quiet. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Charleston SC.

The room was clean and spacious. They had a great continental breakfast. The area wasn't the greatest, but it is conveniently located near the airport, downtown Charleston, and other activities.

The AC could only go full blast and was very sensitive to the temperature setting so it was really hard to regulate the temperature. very uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The breakfast was fresh, well stocked, and had a great variety of options. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again.

Loved that the hot breakfast changed daily. The eggs were fantastic. But Southerners need grits with breakfast. Staff was fntstic!
