Golden Gables Inn Dazzler Select by Wyndham

Room had a great view of the main road and had a decent sized room for me, my mom and my wife with the two queen sized beds I asked for. Room was clean, and appeared to be in good order, nice refrigerator in room, and Cable TV. Hair dryer was located in bathroom on wall and worked well. No elevator for those on second floor, have to carry up the luggage. Couldn't find an ice machine around, but there may have been one somewhere. The Grocery store down the street had plenty of ice bags for only about $2.00. Parking spaces are kind of narrow, more challenging to park for people with Big SUVs and Trucks.

They have a wonderful little fire pit area, which is cozy and warm. The access to restaurants and outlet stores was extremely accessible within minutes. Excellent location, plenty of parking. There seems to be a lot of air, trapped within the water systems which intern caused humming in the pipes, which was a little annoying when the water was running or the toilet was flushed, but not a major annoyance that lasted on a continuous basis.

Clean room and bathroom; great location, very reasonable prices (except for peak foliage week, albeit that's true with all hotels in the area), and the front desk attendants. It's a big reason we are regular, annual guests. And kudos to the room services staff -- the people behind the scenes. I always leave a tip to show my appreciation for their thorough, hard work. The particular room at which we last stayed had upholstered furniture looks old and dingy. The data ports on the TV set are not readily accessible for multi-media viewing. The desk attendant lent me an original Samsung TV remote to access media on my USB stick. Watch that first step out of the tub! The floor is slightly and deceptively lower than the tub. A handrail at the end of the tub would be a much appreciated safeguard.

Over all the room and the property was good but there was a weird smell that when you first walked in but once we opened the patio door it went away beyond that we had a great stay I do recommend the hotel.

Average hotel/motel. No issues or needs. I might stay again. The place was very convenient to the area.

Other than the refrigerator, the property was perfect.

Really friendly staff & very welcoming. Able to walk to get food, lots of options near by. Very clean and lots of nice touches with soaps shampoos etc in the room. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable

My only complaint was the “Grab and Go” breakfast. Yogurt, banana bread or a nutrition bar, all with sugar.

Basic hotel room. Clean, easy parking,

We were able to park right at the door to our room. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed at a price commensurate to the lack of amenities such as a breakfast buffet or gym.

Close to Towne The TV is terrible. I like to watch TV at night before I go to sleep. There was no list of the stations. The guide on the TV was not correct. Much prefer when there is a Roku type TV and you can plug-in your own streaming service services The remote was terrible took forever to change channels, and you did not know what was coming on

Nice, spacious room with a balcony. Staff was very helpful and nice. Good hotel!

The only thing is the tv..remote is very basic and difficult to navigate to one of three guides - the guides are difficult to use and the channel selection is ok if you like sports and kids stuff. No moves, Netflix or Paramount and very little news.
