Yankee Clipper Inn, SureStay Collection by Best Western

Rooms were recently renovated, but small. There was no shampoo in the room when we got there. Breakfast was good, it comes from blueberry muffin that is right next door. But getting the food takes forever.

Not what we expected on arrival. The exterior was unappealing. The pictures of the rooms were fairly accurate although much smaller than expected. Clearly a remodel. No closet which was odd. Carpet old and worn, air conditioning subpar -it was very warm hallways were uncomfortable. Did not utilize the pool- cannot comment on that. Access to the “included breakfast “ was confusing. Had to before ordering as 10 people were already present - we arrived at 7:10am, were told we had to wait to order until 7:30 and had to ask for our meals at 7:50 as we were on a schedule. Needless to say, it was a one and done.

It served its purpose as a place to sleep and was worth the price. The walls are very thin though so you hear everything going on around you. It was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast place next door was good too.

Chambre rénovée, bel emplacement près de tous les services. Aurait pu être un peu plus propre (tapis et mur) mais dans l’ensemble c’était bien. Rapport qualité-prix très bien. A noter que nous n’avons pas essayé la piscine, séjour très court.

The free breakfast was delicious!!

Room is clean, bed is comfortable but the bathroom needs a hairdryer. Location is great!

Pool and hot tub was relaxing

Pool is very small so felt cramped if another family was also in it.

Its a place to go for fairly cheap coin. The communication from the "front" desk is sub-par at best. The blonde young lady at the front desk was hands down the best person on the premises.

Nice pool and hot tub area. No coffee or tea in the room but it was available down the hall by the check-in area. No lobby restroom. Very small lobby. The room was satisfactory.

Best value on the strip. Very clean and staff was helpful.

The room was updated. The bathroom was nice and modern. Ready first four room with a slider to our room. Unfortunately the 2 nights we were there. 10+ people were partying outside our room on a small grass section and slamming doors at all hrs of the night inside. We won’t be staying here.

The rooms were large enough and had two beds which was appreciated. The location of the hotel was on the main highway through town and it was easy to travel via car to restaurants and downtown. The hotel was a bit underwhelming vs. the description when it was booked. There seemed to be few guests at the hotel when we arrived and throughout our stay. There are no elevators so suitcases need to be carried up to the 2nd floor. The "breakfast" was available only if asked for and given in a brown bag to take back to the room for heating and eating. The breakfast included juice, small container of packed mandarin oranges in juice and a frozen breakfast sandwich to be heated in the room microwave. Sure-Stay is not in the class of a Best Western hotel.
