Colony Inn

It’s pretty basic place to stay for sleep, if that’s what you need around the area, will be good for you. If you are looking other amenities you will not find them, this place was good for my family trip to Universal Studios, we were very close to the amusement park, parking is a little tight, the cleaning ladies do a really good job.

Great value, clean and comfortable room. The free breakfast was fantastic! And there is an indoor pool and sauna. Will definitely stay again.

Clean and nice

I don't usually complain or evenly reviews about hotels that I stay in. I'm pretty simple. This place the way it's advertised is terrible. I have the room with the Jacuzzi tub. You would think with this being their feature room and the Jacuzzi being the feature that they would invest in the room, if not the whole property a little more. The handle to the faucet didn't work properly. You had to maneuver that a certain way just for the hot water to drizzle out. There is mold, visual mold all over the bathroom. And it smelled like mold. The room is outdated. If they would just invest a few $100 it could make big improvements. No amenities. It had a refrigerator and that's it. No iron, no coffee. There's trash all around the building especially in the back. They have a homeless issue around there. I just didn't feel comfortable or feel that the room was clean properly. I would never stay there again.

This place serves a basic purpose of : -a clean and comfortable bed, -free self parking, -and convenient location. I do not recommend for solo/women travelers, NO DEADBOLT on the door! And the windows have no screen! Everything was outdated, carpets were dirty, (in need of replacing) and the shower curtain was not enough to keep all the water from pooling in the corners of bathroom floor. AC took a long time to work properly. There are better choices in the area for slightly more money.

Room was clean, mattresses above average, free parking. It was a little hard to find but the upside is more privacy. It is very close to .Universal Studios, only a few miles. Our room was the "suite" which included a twin, queen, and king beds. But 1 bathroom, so be ready to take turns! No breakfast and i don't remember if there were vending machines, no breakfast. Plan accordingly. If you're only there to sleep, we'll worth the price. The elevator is very helpful, as are the 2 air conditioner units in the room.

Its quiet not not very clean. There was a weird smell

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a great experience! 😊

10-10 hot tub where nice

We got the hotel because we where in LA for a bowling tournament and to go to the Dodgers Game. The room was spacious and clean the bathroom was clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Need microwave

The room wasn't anything like the pictures but it was a safe & comfortable place to stay close to universal studios. The staff was very friendly. I would stay there again no problem.

It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room but there is a Starbucks across the street so that’s not a dealbreaker for me.

For the price I paid i was disappointed. The TV kept buffering every few minutes so watching movies was frustrating. The mini fridge in the room wasn't working and the air conditioner didn't keep the room cool. I had previously stayed here before about 2 years and had none of these issues. Not sure if its new management or what's up but I wont stay here again.

The room itself very clean , the staff is extremely helpful and very easy parking

There was free parking, the room was spacious, the staff was amazing! Anything you need just ask and they are willing to help you out!

The housekeeping team does amazing. This motel does require a 100 dollar deposit during check-in, cash or card, but cash is given back the day of check out, while the card takes a little longer. They don't offer breakfast, but overall not a bad location, very close to many stores, food, Universal, etc.
