Hyatt Place Detroit/Novi

The people who work here are OUTSTANDING. Special shoutout to Maggie and Mikayla (hope I got those names right!). Honestly, though everyone was very personable, helpful. I suppose if I had any concerns I just wish the espresso beverage machine - or any coffee - was available 24/7. But really, that is the smallest thing and wasn't a huge deal at all. We will absolutely go here the next time we have a power outage, which I'm sure will be soon enough, knowing DTE... I will also recommend to friends and family, as needed. Also, did I mention? Very affordable! We were so stressed about losing power on a holiday weekend and this place softened the blow a whole lot.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but since we came down kind of late things were pretty picked over. Our fault. Nothing really.

Quick weekend trip in the area. Spacious room. Clean. Plenty of seating/working areas. A lot of channels. Toilettries were fine (soap/shampoo) Still miss small bottles so you have to shower just to wash your hair (can't use sink). Would have liked a makeup mirror. Breakfast had a good variety and was kept hot and stocked. Lobby bar was fine - minimal food options and drink options, but food we had was very good. Lobby had plenty of places to sit/hang out/socialize. I enjoyed reading the Novi history books that were on the lobby table. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of stores in the area for last minute needed options, additional food, etc. Very easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Staff I dealt with was very nice.

We really enjoyed the breakfast. There was a good selection of breakfast items. The hotel was immaculate. I really appreciated how clean it was. There was not enough staff in the evening to order food.

Room was clean and carpet seemed clean. Hotel was quiet. Tucked in the back of event center. Food looked fresh .

The staff was courteous, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bed was amazing. After staying at other hotels in the area, this one truly stood out. The location adjacent to the convention center was perfect and made everything incredibly convenient. I had an excellent experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Loud group of kids on our floor and next door. Had to call front desk on them.

Only stayed one night, but great breakfast & nice accommodations. Would recommend if you are in the area & need a hotel!

Comfy beds There was a late night party in the next room. The music was loud and shaking the walls. The front desk didn’t do anything about it. I couldn’t sleep. It is a terrible experience.

Love the bed and cleanliness! Staff was also great! The WiFi definitely could’ve been better. There was wallpaper peeling off in the bathroom as well. Besides that it was great!

Everything was perfect! The only issue was the television was not a smart tv to upload streaming service! Staff, food, location, room, and cleanliness was perfect!! No smart TV in the room!
