June 2026: property currently being renovated. I’d stay again, but probably wait about 6 months before coming back.

there was mold in the vents . they didn’t want to refund me for the stay however expedia was helpful

The room was cleaned well but hallways had trash and maintenance issues.

Low rates, courteous staff and close parking.

Stayed on Saturday June 13 2026. Staff was friendly, but the hotel is under major remodeling. Checked in during evening hours so we didn’t hear any construction noise. The hallways were very dirty with debris, old takeout containers, and dust. The bathroom and beds were clean, but the kitchenette was not. AC in the room wasn’t working either. Curtains in the room were filthy.

My room power exploded I had to move my things to a whole other hotel for the night I had no ac the manager was rude and doesn’t want to give my money back DONT go here at all there’s 100s of hotels in novi and this one is not it !!!

This is one of the dirtiest establishments I’ve stepped foot in. I left on my first night due to the stench and overall uncleanliness. It was also not disclosed at the time of booking that this location is under construction. The pool is closed and it is loud. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Sonesta in Michigan infested with bedbug. I booked a 9 day stay at Sonesta for work purposes via Expedia. On day 2, I noticed bites marks on my extremities that got worst by day 5. The place was infested with bed bugs. I showed my arms to the front desk staff who contacted Jeremy, the manager. Jeremy told me if I want to check out, I will be refunded for the stay. I checked out and booked another hotel. When Expedia contacted them, they deny the refund. So, not only the place was filthy, infested with bedbugs causing wounds to my arms, they were dishonest and unprofessional. It’s a disgrace to see people lie for a few little. I would not let my dog stay there! Shameful place!!!!

One of the worst experiences we had was staying in this property. Not recommended for the families.

Own kitchen in the room to prepare meal the pool and the gym were not available

In the morning, there is coffee in the lobby, but that’s it. No muffins or bagels or breakfast. But the room had a stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge to use. They all worked fine. But it’d be nice to not have to make breakfast abs just grab a bagel from the lobby. The staff was VERY helpful and courteous. I’ve stayed here before, and will more than likely stay here again.

It was very affordable and close to the convention center, making Motor City Comic Con easily accessible. Room was good but I had to run to the front desk to get toilet paper, there was none in our room.

Didn’t stay because hotel smelled like weed and the room was filthy.
