Beach Walk on the Ocean

It was easy to get in and out and right on the boardwalk so that part was great. The beds were un comfortable, the building was falling apart the rooms are very dated and falling apart, they only give 2 pillows, the property can benefit highly from a deep cleaning it appears to have at onetime been a nice bed and breakfast it seems that it has been sold off and just used as a hotel. I would never book this place again as it is rough.

Room was unclean, used qtip from prior patron on floor in bathroom Inn smelled like smoke Ashtray full of cogarette butts on balcony, sitting right on window sill Only window in bathroom opens not other windows No air conditioning, no screens on window Window a/c unite broken Room stayed between 77-81 degreees Electrical outets sparse and coming out of walls No property manager on site Property manager called me and yelled at me for not calling her after I had to let myself in the room because she wasn't answering her phonr Exterior doors front and back unlocked

The location So confusing to check in, we had the canopy room with no canopy as pictured. Only half a roll of toilet paper and 6 tissues in a box with no one around to ask for more. A fridge and microwave and coffee machine in the main dining room with a sign to help yourself to snacks, the fridge was empty and no snacks anywhere and nothing stocked. No mat in the bathroom and when we took out the bathmat under the sink to use as a mat on the floor it was covered with hair around the suction cups, and behind the towel rack was a plastic covering on the wall and under it was nothing but black mold. Thank god it was only for one night!

I loved the location. I was disappointed in the advertising that said it came with bikes, beach towels and beach chairs and it did not if I would have know I would have brought my own stuff, instead I had to do without.

The distance to the beach. The check in process needs to be a little clearer. Was to get an email the day of check in with info but never got one. When you arrive not clearly marked where to go. Parking is very tight. We stayed in the Victorian room, the shower was very small. The room was decent otherwise. Don't email or call staff, they do not respond. I had to go to the other building to ask for more towels and then they did bring them to the room. There were only 2 working chairs on the porch when we arrived but on our 3rd day there they repaired some more. I did not see anyone use the living room or kitchen. Turn a light on in the living room before you head out at night or you will come back in the dark. This was not a deal breaker. I would book again just pick a different room.

Great location and close to activities. Old time charm. No person at check-in desk. No one around to ask questions.

The location was excellent right on the beach. We were not looking to have a breakfast. After arriving to the address - there were no signs indicating that we needed to go to a building behind the building that we were to stay in. We entered the building of the address but no one was there - the office area was locked and we knocked on the door but no one answered - we could see through the shutters that someone was in there but they would not answer or open the office door. As we were leaving we noticed a couple sitting on the porch area and we asked them where we should go. They told us to go over to the building behind that building and up the stairs. As we went to that building we passed a young lady whom we had seen in the office and as we went up the stairs in the next building she came in and we asked her if she was the person to check us in and she said yes. We wondered why she didn't say something to us when we saw her in the other building? She had an attitude and we were in pain after walking up and down the stairs! I have painful legs and knees and if we had known that there was no elevator we would not have rented that room at all. Our suggestion would be that information be given when people need to know where to go when they register to rent rooms at the Beach Walk on the Ocean. Signs should be posted at the address and staff should be pleasant and not so moody. The room smelled of CLOROX throughout which is a horrible smell.
