Grand Hotel Ocean City Oceanfront

The little restaurant on the main floor was so good, but it would be nice if the employees even half way acted like they wanted to be there. Overall, it’s nice to be ocean front, on the boardwalk, but it’s gotten way too expensive. I can’t justify ever spending that amount again for a room in Ocean city. For comparison, when we left OC we went to DC. Stayed at a beautiful hotel in Old Town Alexandria, had a king suite for less than half the price of the Grand. This place had every amenity you could think of. That’s when I really felt stupid for paying what I did in OC.

Feels like overall bldg needs more cleanliness, as well as parking lot and entry ways need major power washing. We’ve been staying in OC for many years. The price to stay is much higher than value of accommodations compared to Air BnB.

Unbelievable that you call the hotel and specifically asked where there working showers in the pool restrooms and was told that there was and asked about the sauna and was also told they were working. Deception and falsa information. Showers not working in the men's pool bathroom and the sauna are not working neither. The hotel rooms are outdated and some rooms have mold visibly on the walls. The first room we were given was so bad that we had to asked for a different room. Save your time and aggregation better hotels in the vicinity.. the restaurants are all outdated and services is the slowest i have ever seen with so many employees just standing around.

I really enjoyed my stay there...although I was surprised about the $10 per day for parking...other than that, the restaurants, poolside bar, arcade, stores, etc... that they have within the hotel was awesome...one of the best hotels I stayed in OCMD...10th floor direct oceanfront view...amazing!

There is no complimentary breakfast at thsi hotel

Hotel is at a wonderful location, right on the boardwalk and beach front! Rome was very clean and staff very pleasant!

Beach view from every room. Walk out the door and onto the beach. Multiple choices for food and drinks right on the premises, however it’s very expensive. The pool was over crowded but seemed fine. The room was extremely clean and comfortable.

Horrible

The rooms were very clean and you can request cleaning services daily. The pool is a nice feature on an upper deck with a bayside view and a nice pool bar. The only drawback is the balcony’s are all connected so you don’t have a privacy wall between the rooms. But it does offer nice panoramic views. Overall our recommendation is great.

I had 2 less-than-positive interactions during my 3-night visit. In summary, there is now a daily parking charge but this is not listed on their website. I was told I could pay a more expensive daily resort fee but this did not make sense. Just list the charge on your website. Also, the customer service at the check-in counter and at the boardwalk coffee shop seemed very lacking, bordering on unprofessional. I love the convenience of this hotel and gave a glowing review in September 2023 but will look elsewhere in the future.

11 dollars a day for parking on top of room cost isn’t cool

It was there for the 4 days I stayed.

My main concern was how the food was handled in two areas without gloves and making contact with face while preparing customers food. The first was a grill cook. The second occurrence was in açaí bowl area. Too much occurring gloveless. However, Karla made my drink professionally with no hand to face contact. The family liked the location- easy walk to Nicki mini golf, beach, and other favorite places we visit during stay in ocean city.

Loved the ocean view and the outdoor pool. Staff was very nice!

Check-in was very slow. The hair dryer did not work properly, the floor was dirty and had not been cleaned well, and the air conditioner was very noisy.
