Hotel Avenida - Oceanside Camp Pendleton

hotel is NOT presented online correctly. paint was peeling, several different colors were mismatch in the room. shower floor wasn’t level, so it just collected water when ran. stale musty smell in the room. also it’s an econo lodge. misrepresented on the site. next to a closed down restaurant. during our stay had a constant presence of people.

We got moved to three different rooms for a 3 day stay. We were probably going to get moved again for our final day so we decided to not stay for our final day. The staff was very nice, but moving around was really inconvenient.

When we used the shower it smell like sulfer

Location is near the freeway and the bed was very comfortable. One night I had to shower with cold water since the hot water wasn't working.

i liked how there was room for food on the tv stand, the fridge was nice. and the decor wasn't that bad at first. Until started see how deteriorated the walls were in the bathroom. the bathroom had mold on base board by toilet, the water running through shower was sewage water, it smelled as soon as your turned it on like sewer water. It made me sick extremely, I couldn't get out of bed for days and they kept my deposit. this was the worst experience I have had a motel. I didn't complain because I wanted the deposit and I needs a roof over the kids head temporarily until my apartment is ready but I will never stay here again.

The hotel was cleaned land really nice place to stay.

Small nothing fancy but it was clean

The motel is in a nice area and is super close (near walking distance) to "Main Street" Oceanside's boutique district where all the shops, clubs and eateries are located. While the room was clean and adquately furnished with a comfortable bed and ample safe parking, the motel itself is screaming for a remodel. It gets 2.5 stars.

Checked out of hotel on Monday and still haven’t received deposit back from hotel. Room was left the way we found it. Tried contacting property multiple times but still haven’t had any luck of reaching them!

The rooms are very dusty and the Wi-Fi is lousy

We basically just needed a place to sleep for 1 night. This property was affordable, clean and no frills. The rooms are small but served it's purpose. It was a good budget friendly option.

Hotel faces the freeway so very noisy. Obviously older building, cramped double room. It served its purpose in a pinch but overall a poor value for the price.

Completely false advertisement... still waiting for my deposit back! If your thinking about staying here dont! Motel 6 is even better than this and no extra hidden fees! For a quick night... dont do it! Will never book here again or let anyone else i know do so... im serious... dont book here! Completely a scam

Clean room nice staff good parking

We didn’t have breakfast; we weren’t informed. The place was clean, staff with good service but the rooms were too small. better photos for true expectations.

The room was filthy and looked like someone had left a dog in there alone and it had chewed up everything in site. The main door had a huge gap underneath where it met the floor. We had to shove a towel under the door so we didn’t see people walking by. Think twice before you stay there.

Caution tape at stairs to room when I finally found them behind steel gate. Filthy! I cannot say this enough. Bodily fluids including blood visibly on chair (a lot) and blood on door as well as I’m sure other places I couldn’t see. Would not set bags on floor or near bedding. I would not doubt bedbugs but I was bitten by something. After one full week of pain and itching I ended up at Urgent Care where it was determined it was a tick bite and I have Lyme symptoms! I was told I needed to report to SD Vector Control. Because I felt for these owners I called to explain before they were sideswiped by the report. The person who answered Amari was so rude and disrespectful when I called with empathy and understanding even though I am the one in treatment for something because of their negligence. Any good I had felt while there went out the window. He actually tried to tell me I “couldn’t call Vector Control”. This property absolutely lost me.

Booked through hotels dot com it was very affordable.
