Crest Motel

We loved that it was on only a very brief walk thought the parking lot to get to the ocean. The indoor pool and hot tub was a major bonus with our two children. Location was close enough to the boardwalk The bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillows were not any much better. Being in the room we were in it was VERY LOUD all night. Sadly as much as we loved the pool our room placement made it hard to get the kids to want to do what we were trying to do because they wanted the pool every time we stepped out our door. It was directly in front of our door. The window curtains don't fully cover the window, just like all hotel and motels I have stayed at. I wish they would insulate the rooms because like I said it was loud all night both nights we stayed. Between the guest walking by, the guest stomping up and down the stair and it sound like a big old party in the room above our head all night the 2nd, plus the train. = no sleep for any of us either night we stayed. The uncomfortable bed and pillows just topped off the long sleepless nights. I am personally shocked I couldn't sleep through all of that because I went there very sleep deprived. Almost forgot no fan in the bathroom= black mold on the ceiling. They did have the little window in the shower open when we got there and we didn't touch but I personally would rather not have black mold in the room with me.

Indoor pool, playground with a sand box, grills outdoors to use, right on the beach from the parking lot, plenty of parking. The staff was amazing!!

Family oriented, nice staff, clean rooms, air conditioning works great, convenient location! Only complaint is the playset there has not been maintained the best(obviously it’s sitting in the sun and rope gets dry and brittle) the baby swing snapped while my son was in it, thankfully my son is okay but that was scary!

Perfect location for beach and the pier Nothing really

Was no breakfast or we were not aware of it. Excellent location The room/rooms definitely need up grades. The beds are old and the sides of the bed were stained. The bedspreads were also old, was not very inviting. There was not enough room for four people to even sit. The fabric chair in the room was old and stained! The rooms looked very nice on line but they did not look like that in person. Being right there at the beach was great! We expected the room to be much better for the price we paid.

Location, pool and hot tub. No coffee machine in the room.
