Due to construction work by the City of Omaha, several cylindrical holes, each about 8 inches in diameter, were left in the sidewalk next to the hotel. These holes were neither marked nor cordoned off. My grandson and I were walking back to the Hampton Inn around 8 PM on August 4th when my 12-year-old grandson stepped into one of the holes, sinking about a foot deep. He screamed in pain and quickly pulled his foot out, his shin already red, swollen, and blistered. With the help of kind passersby, we carried him back to the hotel lobby. The hotel manager immediately provided first aid and comforted us, helping us calm down. He then provided a medical facility so we could find a doctor to examine our child in this unfamiliar place. I am very grateful to the manager on duty that day, although I have forgotten his name. I am also very grateful to the Hampton Inn for having established standard operating procedures for such incidents, prioritizing the service of its guests.

The hotel itself is great Paying for parking at the hotel with not enough parking and having to park 2 blocks away and pay for that as well
-
Disappointing
-
The parking is terrible and the pool wasn’t even in service and we booked for the pool and for some reason my booking wasn’t even under my name but on expidida my information was right
-
Decent stay overall, but nothing that stood out. The front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about things to do. Otherwise, the room was pretty dated. Really just a bed to sleep in.

Close to Old Market and airport Elevators were not functioning properly

We were visiting Omaha for the first time with our 10 and 12 year old grandsons. This property was close enough to walk to many restaurants and activities (albeit with a little grumbling from the littlest one), as well as a large room, nice pool, and varied breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly and check in/out was a breeze. We ate twice at DJ’s Dugout and got the steak dinner both nights. Even the picky eaters were impressed and pleased. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Restaurants within walking distance. Front desk staff extremely nice and friendly checking in. Rooms were nice and there is a variety of food for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great. The pool was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Kids loved the popcorn. Very close to everything we did. I originally booked the wrong date. I couldn't get booking or the hotel to change or cancel this booking. It ended up working out in that we just added a night, but I was very frustrated with the booking. It was also not clear to me until I arrived that I would have to pay for parking

This hotel was amazing. Staff were so nice and helpful. They did not mind us being late to check in and did not mind in the least bit us being early to check out. The breakfast was awesome.

We did have a issue with a man that was staying at the other hotel. He had issues with individuals and the parking which couldnt be helped but he was very aggressive toward my husband, the staff at the hotel and other individuals. Not going into further details but that situation was stressful. Does that mean will not be back of course not because the staff were wonderful despite everything. I felt sorry that they had to go through that.
