Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista at Vista Centre

We were so pleasantly surprised when we stayed here for a convention. We decided to book again two weeks later for our son's third birthday. The pool was lovely and well maintained. Our rooms were so clean. Housekeeping staff kindly gave us turndown service and even organized my child's toys. The entire staff goes completely above and beyond. I have stayed in far worse hotels and paid twice as much. Will be back!

This is the 3rd time I stay here and I have to say this time around it was kind of MEH. My room, while it wasn’t bad it wasn’t really good either. The bathroom walls had a bit of mold. The bathroom sink would clog up and water will take a bit to drain down. The faucets had water build up on them looked pretty dirty. For whatever reason the AC in the room still felt like the room was muggy and I had it on 69 with constant fan on. Other than that it was cool the main reason for my stay was to be poolside and that delivered. I love their pool. Always clean.

Mr Moore was amazing. He found us towels and extra blankets at a late hour and brought us pillows without us asking. Checking in was fast and easy too.

The hotel was a good selection for our family and the kids definitely enjoyed the pool every day

It was a great stay great staff will stay on this property again

Unfortunately while we were there, I guess because of Pride month, there were men walking around in just underwear. On the morning we left there was one guy walking around with the butt cut out of his underwear. Not just the hotel but the whole street. There was also a parking fee charged that I didn’t notice online when I booked. I wouldn’t stay here again.

There was nothing we didnt enoy. We liked the movie swim. However, we were denied breakfast for booking on expedia but you advertised as breakfast included

Bar was opened late pool was clean and warm. Check in was easy and staff was respectful and kind. Definitely would stay again for sure.

This was not a 4 star hotel, probably a 2.5 or 3.

However, reading the reviews on this site were very misleading. I always thought, you can't go wrong with a Marriott... boy was I wrong!! This building is old, needs to be painted, the hallways have chipped paint everywhere. I was constantly seeing trash around and throughout the hallways as if no one vacuums. The room was comfortable, which was my only saving grace for this hotel. This is the true definition of, "you get what you pay for." The price point isn't worth the hassle. Hotels.com has this property listed as four stars... it's absolutely NOT a four star hotel. I guess by different standards, it may be for some. This property needs some TLC and a ton of upgrades. Not impressed!

The room had a strong odor in the bathroom and in the living/kitchenette area as if it had very recently been fumigated for an insect infestation. We had to call down for additional towels, toilet paper and because there was an empty tissue box left in our room. When checking out, a woman arguing with the front desk over a $20 hold on her card and another woman was trying to walk her luggage behind the front desk by herself. The staff did a great job redirecting and maintaining professionalism on both counts. Unfortunately our family will not be back because of the room itself as it was a huge disappointment.

Condition and cleanliness was greatly lacking. Our hotel door was broken so we have to shove it multiple times to get in or out. There were multiple stains on sheets and blankets and the overall atmosphere was bleak. The staff however, were extremely kind.

Another unpleasant thing was we heard a baby crying next to our room at night and early morning almost everyday, very annoying. I made a complaint to Front desk, Maurice, on the check out day, gwhich he apologized and said that I should let him know right when it happened, so he could change the room for us, so this was a thing that I liked.

The property was beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We checked in for a Disney stay. They shared that shuttle service was offered. Also, vouchers toward snacks were given. The hotel room has a fridge, microwave, and is very spacious. I did not get to experience the courtyard and pool but it was beautiful. We did the breakfast buffet which was delicious and worth the price.

Only complaint I have and I believe it’s mostly Expedia’s fault is that it advertised the queen bedroom as Breakfast included when it didn’t include breakfast and we did not choose the King bedroom for this reason.
