Crowne Plaza Orlando - Lake Buena Vista by IHG

I was able to check in early and that was a great benefit. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It had an awesome pool area and the gym/ fitness center had various machines in working order. There was fresh water and coffee available at any time in the lobby. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location was within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. I got a king size room. There were little flies, like fruit flies buzzing around. Maybe because the window actually opened to the roof, or they were coming in from the drain. There was also a dank odor in the room, which I think came from the AC unit. I actually had to open the window to air out the room, which then messed up the humidity in the room. Overall the room was very clean and comfortable except for the flies and off-smelling odor.

I liked how close it was to all of the attractions! I also liked how friendly the staff was The room was EXTREMELY humid. To the point that the sheets and pillows were wet and we weren’t moved or helped. The shuttle only happed four times a day at really weird times throughout the day which would cause you to be extremely early or extremely late to attractions. The bar/cafe was only open 5 hours a during times when you’d be gone.

Great place to stay. Only issue is if you have adjoining rooms you can hear the other people in the room.

I particularly liked it wasn't extremely close to the theme parks without it being to far allowing guest the ability to enjoy much quieter surroundings. The outdoor pool was a gem, being it had a slide and waterfall. The grounds were meticulously taken care for and there were a variety of restaurants around the property. My room was clean, the beds were comfortable and I picked a room with a balcony to enjoy a quite afternoon/evening with wine a d the fresh Florida air. Staff were very attentive and customer service was excellent.

Bed wasn’t comfortable

The 4th floor smells musty and feels damp. The room was the same way by the second day and the tub holds water while taking a shower. The king room was really spacious and nice. However, the smell was very unacceptable.

Rooms seemed to be renovated yet ok, nothing extraordinary yet clean.

I was surprised I’ve never booked this property before. The hotel is very clean, quiet, easy to find and close to all main attractions. The staff is super friendly and very easy going they are not in a rush and make guests feel comfortable. I will be adding it to my list of places to stay when in Orlando. If you haven’t tried it yet it’s perfect for a family get away . The pool is very appropriate for kids and adults with a fun slide and a large sitting area. Rooms are spacious and balcony is big. We had no issues or problems that I can say. The price is decent for the location and amenities. Try and see.

The location was good the staff woman who checked me in was sensational in every way complete professional The poor conditions of the room from the clogged bathtub very slow drain, only one rusted chair on the balcony, and the beds are literally the poorest condition I could feel the springs in my back , I travel often and have stayed at hundreds of resorts and hotels across the US so please believe me when I warn you about the beds, oh and the complimentary drinks they offer about 4oz enough to hydrate your mouth. The workout area was nice as well as the pool but to close the entire pool at 8 pm on a Friday night is a joke.

Clean room, staff excellent

The property is in a great location and the parking was convenient and easy. Room was very spacious. The room and the corridors have a very old, musty smell. It smelled a little like mold. The room also felt very damp, including the bed pillows, comforter and bath towels. Unless we turned the AC temperature down incredibly low, the room got very humid but then on the low temperature it just felt uncomfortably cold and damp.

Always a friendly staff. It’s nice to be recognized when I walk in.

We had a small trip to Disney 2 days. We stayed here and I will say from my personal experience the staff was and service was some of the best I have ever had. First i called because I wasn't able to check in before 11pm and Asif at the front desk took care of everything for me and when I did check in late offered two complimentary drinks at the Bar. When I did finally make it to the Bar I ordered some food not knowing the Bar restaurant was closed and the Chef(we did not get his name) came out and made wings and chicken quesadillas for my family after hours. The staff really made accommodations for us even after late night check in and after hours. We definitely recommend this hotel. Great Location. Affordable. Staff was Excellent!
