I loved this hotel. It was fancier than I expected for the price. Great value if you’re going to Universal Studios!

Our stay was awesome! Close walking distance to restaurants and universal studios. Staff was super friendly and the shuttle to the parks are free and easy to reserve.

It is a high middle hotel it has most of the amentities a person would want for a stay by the parks. Down side was they had a cheer competizione during my stay and the music was so loud i could hear it on the 17th floor coming from pool. I would still recomend this hotel because front desk,bell team and pizza shop where excellent

My stay at the doubletree was exciting upon arriving . Once I arrived I didn’t know how busy it was going to be which is fine because the area is very busy. The elevator were extremely packed and wait times to get on were long . The room was clean however the shower was clogged up and that was disappointing since we had little ones who needed showers . The worst part was while we were in the pool someone pooped and that was extremely disgusting and I did reach out to the hotel they provided parking complementary but that was all and not that my family and I were looking for any accommodation but that was awful. Overall stay was nice , staff were extremely nice and helpful . The vibe was nice and overall I would come back and visit in the future.

The worst issue was the bathroom. The shower curtain had a strong mildew smell that made the entire bathroom unpleasant. We requested that it be replaced, but if it was, there was no noticeable difference because the odor never went away. Overall, the room did not meet our expectations for cleanliness or upkeep. With better maintenance and attention to these issues, the property could provide a much better guest experience. It’s sad for me to say, even with the great location and my many times staying here, we won’t be coming back when there are many other options in Orlando that are better kept.

The hotel was great, along with the location. Lots of food options, pool and a splashpad. It was very easy to get to Universal City Walk, thanks to the bridge that helps pedestrians avoid traffic. Check in was quick and the staff was pleasant. There were several events going on in the area, so the noise outside could be heard indoors on the 12th floor till midnight. This is to be expected on a weekend in the middle of a tourist area. My biggest concern was with the plumbing. The shower drained very slowly and there was sitting water both in the tub when I showered and in the sink when I brushed my teeth.
