DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando

The hotel staff were very friendly. Unfortunately our room had a damp smell and feel. It felt like the carpet in our room was shampooed and thought the damp feel would go away but it did not. I did mention it to the front desk 2 days after as I was hoping it would get better and they offered to move us but with a family of 4 and checking out 2 days after I chose not to move. The bathroom did not have a fan which also did not help the situation. Housekeeping came each day but they forgot to restock the toilet paper and we ran out in the middle of the night as well as the bathroom floors did not seem to be cleaned. There was a ball of hair in between our beds on the floor and the room was quite dated and could benefit from some updates. The only reason I did not give it a lower score was because the staff were very friendly and did accommodate us with breakfast vouchers for one morning. Location was great if you are going to Universal and the International Outlet is very close. The warm chocolate cookies was a delight. Unfortunately, I would not stay at this Hilton again.

Rooms weee clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The DoubleTree is a hotel I would recommend to all family and friends.

we really enjoyed the view from our room and the staff there was very nice! we are planning to stay at the hotel everytime we go to Universal Studios.

The room was always clean towels were always stocked the housekeeping service is a plus. The hotel outdoor pool was very nice fun, and clean myself and my husband loved that, the restaurant they had towards the entrance was pretty good I enjoyed a salad late night no problems there. Far as breakfast we didn’t see any nor was told about breakfast if they had a buffet or setup. I would have given this hotel a more better review let’s get to why I have such a low rating, prior to booking I made sure to let the hotel know my husband and I were celebrating two big events our 18th Anniversary and my husbands 40th birthday once we arrived there was no “Happy Greeting’’ we didn’t even get a little decoration for both events in our room, no happy anniversary or happy birthday from any of the staff that was upsetting but we didn’t let it spoil the day. We did like that Universal Studios entrance was across the way that was the best part about everything, overall it’s a nice hotel but we will not be returning respectfully.

The property is decent. It’s in a good location if you’re trying to get to other parks using rideshare. My only issue is the room that we were assigned to the bed line was dirty. We had to request for housekeeping to come and change the linen out.

love the proximity to the park. Only think that i can complain about is that in order to go to Universal epic park , there was really verry little options. Need to add more shuttle busses to take you back and forward

I have stayed at this hotel before and I consider it excellent for the price and location. This is our preferred hotel in Orlando.

Staff was very helpful but parking was confusing

First the beds were comfy and the area was clean. The pool was large and we were supplied with free towels by the pool staff. The hot tub wasn't to hot or to cold either. Breakfast was tasty and you could choose between buffet or order by menu. The staff were kind 😇 and cleaners came in the morning to clean. ☺️
