Marriott's Grande Vista

We stay at this property every time we are in the area and it’s always fantastic!!

The stay and hotel were great. At check in it took a little longer then I would have liked. At the pool it was a holiday weekend but getting a chair or chairs by the pool was very difficult. Tons of hotel towels holding chairs nobody was coming back for. Very frustrating.

Had such a beautiful vacation there the staff was absolutely amazing check-in and checkout process was super easy. They are very welcoming. Very attentive. Property is super clean.

The attention to our comfort during our stay was excellent.

The room was comfortable and clean. The property is very nice and family friendly. The property can use a little updating and sprucing up but overall very nice and we had a great time. Rooms are comfortable and large for families. Good A/C. Nice to have a small kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Overall great and we would return.

The facility was nice, with a good layout and decent pools. Our only frustration was at checkout. The hotel was trying to promote a a special offer for a future stay. After we declined and just asked for our receipt, we were sent to wait in a long line at the front desk. That was especially frustrating after receiving reminders about the strict checkout time at 10 am - we rushed to check out on time only to spend it waiting in line. This process could definitely be improved.

I like everything

The positives—it’s pretty central to a lot of great places to visit and everything was accessible. There’s also a lot to do in property. This is a great spot if you’re traveling with a large party of people, though you may need to coordinate meetups because it’s possible you won’t be in the same building as them.

The Resort was pretty , but $30 a night for parking was extreme & also my spouse left something in our room when we checked out and when we called they claimed it was not in the room when we are positive it was so that means the housekeeping stole it which is crazy and a proper investigation was not had , so that will be our last time staying there.

Clean room

The resort itself was very clean and well maintained. We couldn't get a pool-view room because we were told it was high season, but we did have a quiet balcony overlooking the golf course, which was nice. Unfortunately, our room felt too far from the main amenities, so we ended up not using any of the resort facilities. My biggest disappointment was the repeated pressure to attend a timeshare presentation. At check-in, I was directed to the concierge, who immediately tried to persuade me to visit another desk for a presentation in exchange for resort credit. It felt quite pushy. Then, two hours before checkout, we received another phone call offering additional credit if we visited the concierge again, presumably for the same timeshare presentation. If you're simply looking for a hotel stay without repeated sales pitches, this may not be the best choice—especially considering the price. While the grounds are beautiful and well kept, the constant timeshare solicitation took away from what should have been a relaxing resort experience.
