Orlando International Drive North Hotel

There were roaches on the wall and beetles in the towels. The room smelled musty and moldy and the sheets were damp.

This property was filthy, they changed my room and the second room was worst than the first. From hair and foot print on the bed, to oil phone and light fixtures. Some kind of brown smudge on the floor, to damp sheets. A burn hair dryer, literally burned out the out side. Ducks swimming in the pool, practice keep out of breakfast 5 mins after 9:30 and told the dinning area was being closed. I have pictures

Quiet and nice breakfast

I wish I can say my experience was good but it wasn’t. First thing we noticed upon entering our hotel room once put our feet on the floor was like dirt or sand like material on the floor near the bed. The next thing we noticed upon entering the bathroom was that the bathroom door would not lock, the lock was jammed and was hard to keep closed for privacy. Next thing we noticed was the air vent was not working, Upon checking the air vent, it looked like an accumulation of dust and dirt that’s been there for months, which would explain why the vent was not working. Then upon showering we noticed we had half of a shower door which caused an abundance of water falling out of the shower in which we had to put a towel on the floor to prevent a mess of water. The next thing we noticed was the baseboards of the bed hadn’t been dusted in a while. I could run my finger across and have an accumulation of dust. Then upon connecting to the WiFi offered at the hotel, we noticed it was really slow, much slower than the average hotels we been in. Sorry to say, I would never come back based on this experience.

We rented 2 rooms for 3 nights. Location was great. Breakfast was fair. Rooms were absolutely disgusting. Mold and mildew on walls and ceilings. Both rooms had what looked like blood spots on ceiling. One room had the AC on 58 and could not adjust the temperature. Now realize that’s to try to fend off growth of mold. That same room had half a shower door so water would go all over when taking a shower. Tried to make do because we basically just slept and ran all day. The last night was the icing on the cake…at 2 am water was running down the wall into the electrical socket causing sparks! 🔥 reported it and showed hotel worker. Got another room for the few hours sleep we got before heading back to Louisiana! Checkout person didn’t seem overly surprised and refunded us the bogus “resort” fees for “our inconvenience”. Pretty sure that’s why they charge these fees so it makes people feel like they’re compensating us for our trouble. When in reality, these are illegal fees added after booking. Do not stay in room 117! It’s a fire hazard!

Room wa dirty.

The location was good The room was apparently clean, but it had a strong smell of moisture and mold, we asked for help with that, but nobody did it to clean the room, the smell was so strong that our clothes when we left the place still smelled mold.

The room was soaked and wet. I really wasn’t comfortable at all. Felt like I was at Volcano Bay.

My room was full of humidity, all my clothes were damp every morning! I rolled up a big bath towel and would put it across the bottom of my door to help with the humidity. I also kept my air conditioner on constantly to the point that I was freezing. I stayed for seven days the last day when I was in the shower and I looked up. I had black mold all over the ceiling. Unfortunately, I was not out there on a vacation. My mother is in hospice so every day was spent with her the last thing I needed to do was worry about my room. I had no idea about the black mold until the day I was checking out. My focus was on my mom. The staff was great. One night when I got back to my room I found out my microwave wasn’t working. I called the front desk and they got it fixed another night when I got in I realized my TV was not getting all the channels or I couldn’t access things on my remote control. they sent a guy to check on it, but he said I didn’t have the Samsung remote control so basically there was none for my TV. Just the universal one that came with the room again it did not access everything. I told the girl at the desk when I was checking out about the black mold in my shower on the ceiling. I took pictures and showed her. She basically said there was nothing they could do. On top of all of this when I checked in, they told me it was an additional $117 for a resort fee when I checked out that $117 turned into 140 because I was taxed every day on the resort fee.

No complaints

Staff was excellent!! Breakfast was nice and pool was beautiful. Stayed for shuttle at Universal- shuttle only shows up AFTER the two main parks open at 9:05 so that’s crazy and not helpful :/. And it was late multiple days- not the hotels fault though just big oversight in my opinion. The hotel room was nice but it was SOOOOO muggy in the rooms at all times of the day even middle of the night :/

En limpieza un fracaso me hospedé por 10 días y solo fueron 2 días a limpiar me quejé varias veces veces en la recepción! Y como quiera nunca fueron a limpiar! Nosotros mismo teníamos que botar la basura limpiar ir a pedir toallas etc !

The hotel could benefit from more frequent inspections of room cleanliness and the condition of linens and towels before assigning rooms to guests. On the positive side, the breakfast was good overall, although offering eggs both with and without cheese for every day would better accommodate different dietary preferences. The staff was friendly and courteous throughout our stay, and we appreciated their kindness. For a short stay, the hotel served its purpose and met our basic needs. Despite the issues mentioned, we would consider staying here again for a brief visit, though probably not for a stay longer than four days.

El personal fue muy amable todo el tiempo y la localización fue perfecta. Un precio increíble también para todo lo que ofrece.

Good accommodations. Bed was comfy. Hot breakfast was nice. They did tack on an extra fee along with the deposit, but otherwise it was great.
