Good Place to Stay. Water taxi is convenient and Short Walk to Universal if you want to walk.

Staff were more than helpful and always happy. I’ve stayed in hard rock before but I’ll stay here from now on. There’s a universal shop , a few restaurants, multiple pools and quick service options for breakfast/ fast dinner. Also appreciated the onsite starbucks

Had problems accessing rooms after day in universal parks. Ended up walking back and fro 5 times to sort it out and staff were not very helpful. Wouldn't go back.

We only had a short one-night stay, and sadly the weather limited our ability to fully enjoy the facilities, but it's a beautiful hotel. Beds very comfortable, and rooms and bathroom spacious. My only gripe is that parking is charged, for a high-end and cost property, I really feel like this should be included. As should a few bottles of water in the guest rooms.

Excellent hotel with great amenities.

Very convenient for Universal. Billed as a 5 star but we judged it more of 4 star. Lacked a calm, cosy bar next to reception at night. Had to go to a bar next to the harbour with a very noisy bar tender who loved the sound of his own voice (unless his boss? Was in the room) We didn’t use the restaurants or pools. A short walk to the main parks if cool enough or a wait for the boat. The boats stop if lightning is present so make sure you can do the walk if necessary. Early access & fast pass to parks (but not Epic which wasn’t very clear). A bit of a wait at reception & reception is echoing so was hard to hear. Room number is texted to you with access to rooms with fast pass card but we only had data not text messages to our mobile so a back up email would have been preferred. Don’t expect a lie in as the leaf blowers start early in the grounds.

Back to Portofino, there is an aroma that the entire hotel has. A very good one that welcomes you in. Everywhere you turn, this aroma follows you all the way to your hotel room. The rooms are very spacious, for a family of four, we had plenty of wiggle room. Very kid friendly establishment. Loved our 6-day stay. Very thankful for such an amazing experience.

Stunning hotel and setting with exceptional staff and facilities

We managed to check in at 9:00am, room was beautiful and well located, staff super friendly and really helpful. Fast passes were the icing on the cake and great deal booking with Expedia.

Absolutely gorgeous property, stayed for 1 night as a treat and already want to go back!! Super helpful, friendly staff and the underground parking was really useful too!

We absolutely love when the opera singers come out to entertain.. amazing!!!!

Siemplemente espectacular, cada detalle es finamente cuidado, el lago y su jardín espectacular, la comida no es tan buena es lo único a recalcar, las habitaciones con camas cómodas y espaciosas, la piscina algo divino. Volvería de nuevo pero estaba vez me quedaría más días.
