Great location, great staff, and great amenities. That being said, the pool was lukewarm, and the toilet flushing capabilities was definitely subpar. The bathroom was completely different than the picture on Expedia - almost imitating a hospital, stark, bathroom.
-
Very clean and friendly. Great shuttle links to the parks
-
Everything was great and had so many options, you have a grab n go breakfast or a buffet, 2 restaurants, gym, arcades. You have couches to sit and relax, boutique souvenir to shop. Room was clean and everything is close by. Staff were all very nice and helpful and parking is easy you can have the option to self park wich we loved or use their Valet. Giving these 2 options to guest is amazing.

Stayed at this hotel for the express pass at universal. To be honest, the rooms at Stella Nova were way nicer—these were dated. Didn’t use the pool but the walk to universal was convenient. Overall, it’s worth it for the universal amenities but both Cabana Bay and Stella Nova give an overall better experience.

I had to wait a long time in the check-in line. Apparently if you check in online in advance there are faster separate check-in lines.

Great property, but very, very busy and a little tired looking in places, Room was clean and comfortable, with a great view. Jake’s bar was provided excellent dining options and service was exceptional with delicious food. The fast passes saved us hours of questing and were valid on the day of check in - park opening until the day of check out - park closing,

Lovely hotel, with helpful & friendly staff. The resort has a great holiday vibe, the pool is warm and the lobby smells amazing. Also loved the water taxi to Universal.
-
Staff at the restaurant were wonderful. Heather took care of us multiple days for breakfast.
-
I ENJOYED THE STAY AND THANK FUL FOR THE EXPRESS PASS TO ISLAND ADVENTURE.
-
Great location, great staff
-
Early entrance to the park, complementary fast pass, boat rides from hotel to city walk awesome!
-
While it is a Loews property, it feels second rate. The staff were nice at checkin, but they did not go above and beyond. It wasn’t an “experience.” The pool area was crowded and the concrete burned the bottom of the feet. Terrible for small children. Tower 2 is very far from any of the amenities, so change rooms if you are put there!
-
Loved and universal pass was the best
-
Seemed a little old and dark but that may go with the jungle/Hawaiian theme. Pool was nice and staff were great. The kids loved the families of ducks running around.
-
Top notch experience! And the Expression Pass makes it worth every penny.
-
Water taxi is lovely to take
-
Closeness to Universal Parks and the hotel is just exceptional- the smell of flowers everywhere- wow The long lines for checking in or out. They have staff on but it seems to take forever
-
My favorite Universal hotel bc of the fast pass, beautiful tropical hotel, proximity to the parks and easy transportation options.

The hotel’s staff is very attentive. Breakfast at the Islands Dining Room is amazing, I did à la cart because of my allergies (what they are taking very seriously) and I was absolutely satisfied, my friend chose to do the buffet which is a wonderful variety of food. Our server was very helpful and attentive (unfortunately I don’t remember his name, but I know he’s from Morocco).
