Love this cute little inn I came across on Expedia

One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. Great facilities - lovely location walkable to the town. Free parking. Fridge in room - helpful staff upon check in

Amazing stay right beside Asilomar Beach. The perfect location tucked away in Pacific Grove and pet friendly! Exactly what was needed for a weekend getaway in Monterey! Will absolutely return in the near future.

Check-in left us waiting 30 minutes while they cleaned the room past the 3:00 check in hour. No apologies. The digital key did not work and we were given a physical key. The room had obviously been cleaned but was in disrepair. With holes in the wall and caked in dirt and dust everywhere. I washed off the tv remote but it remained so sticky that it was unpleasant to touch. The bed was so ridiculously hard, it was all but impossible to sleep.

It is cute and quaint. I does not have a/c. FYI. i did sleep with the window open so that helped. Nothing fancy about the room but it served its purpose:).

1. Has a full kitchen if that’s something you need 2. Square footage is bigger than traditional motor room. The bedroom has a door separate from the kitchen and the couch area. 3. It’s close to the beach about 5-10 minutes walk. I love that. 4. The area of pacific grove is very quiet and has a lot of trees. You will see deer and wildlife roaming the property. 5. There are eating areas with benches and seatings throughout the property. Very useful if you want to picnic and eat outside. 6. Some rooms have patio seatings, multiple rooms. The bad: 1. You can hear everyone talking and every conversation is heard to the detailed!! If you have a loud neighbor, it will be unfortunate. 2. The bed is hard 3. The bathroom does not have lock and if you have multiple staying there, anyone can walk into the bathroom. That’s kind of unnerving. No privacy for the bathroom. 4. There is no air conditioning or fan. Most of the time you don’t need an air conditioning but you will need some kind of fan or air movement. You will need to open all the windows to get fresh air in. Depending on what is important to you, you will rate the cottage accordingly. For me, the bed comfort is extremely important and not having a lock for the bathroom is something that can be easily fixed. I rate this as 3/5 as compared to other places you can stay at for the same price point. They have room for improvement. It would not be my first choice to come back here.

Location — amazing Price — steep

Spacious and clean and cute . Close to Sunset Ave. for watching the sunset. Nice facilities. Quiet. Well stocked bathroom soaps, shampoo, conditioner. Lots of storage space. We had an ADA compliant room. The "kitchen" was woefully understocked. No cooking utensils, only one set of silverware, no corkscrew, no paper towels or sponge to wash dishes. There was dish soap. Unfortunately we discovered most of these definciencies after the office was closed so had to borrow a corkscrew from a neighbor guest and make due.

The beds were comfy and we all got a good nights sleep.

It's close to beach and located in quite Neighborhood. Not a busy cottage. Our rooms were located on top of facility rooms and even though we had kind of privet balcony but always there were laundry smells. Facility was not quite clean and outdoor furniture were not usable because they were not cleaned.

The location is close enough to walk to the beach. The reception area was cluttered with junky toys.

We were very pleasantly surprised by how big the beds were and how clean and modern room our room with two beds was. It was also nice to have filtered water in the office.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bide A wee. The room is very spacious including amenities like a toaster, fridge, microwave ceiling fan and oscillating fan. Clean and pretty grounds, and love that it includes a bbq to grill and picnic tables. The neighborhood is quiet and clean and I felt very safe. the best part it’s a block away from Asilomar Beach. We look forward to going again soon!
