Helpful staff, good breakfast

Vending machines with soft drinks and water with gas could be usefull

I loved my stay. The staff was lovely, the room clean and I loved the location.

Although the building is old, I liked its distinctive design with an open atrium and the generously sized room. I would stay here again when visiting Pacific Grove.

Could use longer matches to lite the fireplace log. Really missed a coffee pot in the room. Want a Hot cup early in the a.m. while still in P.J.'s If you had to pay extra ($5.00 or less) to have to arrange for a coffee set up to be in your room, it would be worth it. I would stay there again, but actually seldom stay at facilities anymore.

Breakfast was good

Room was clean but had a musty smell. Grounds were fine but had some garbage on the ground near the outside fireplace. Breakfast was OK but don't expect what you get say at a Hampton Inn. Oatmeal, waffles, hard boiled eggs, coffee, OJ.

Lovely place near the Aquarium. Enjoyed by all 3 generations.

Very simple breakfast. Not enough towels available.

Breakfast is too simple, please have some breakfast meat.

Our only complaint was the morning cleaning staff. She was outside our door on her phone for about 10 minutes, when we asked for towels, she sent us to the front desk. Front desk was more helpful and nice.

No air conditioning. When we complained that the room was at 90 degrees we were advised to leave our patio door open all night.

Great stay

Clean room, pool and hot tub. Free breakfast with waffle maker. Great and safe location. Two blocks from the beach.

Love the included breakfast waffles you can make and all the other breakfast options. Fireplace in room with a free log every day is great. Lasts for 3 hours, pool, hot tub, nice venue across the street for music, ice cream, coffee, hot dogs. Fridge & microwave in the room. Very sweet staff the two times I stayed here.

Very comfortable room- ample parking- good amenities such as pool/jacuzzi, breakfast

Everything was very clean. No hot dishes for breakfast except make your own waffles. Not as big a variety of breakfast dishes as I have seen elsewhere. The front desk staff were very friendly and super helpful!

This was a lovely, quiet place to stay. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and how nice everyone was.
