The property is a bit old and dated but served its purpose well

Overall a great experience, clean and quiet and close to everything in Pacific Grove

So all things considered, this was a great place to stay. I did not give it a five as it was a bit older in appearance, but everything else more than made up for the initial appearance. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice place but they should not say that they have WiFi. It was awful. Either upgrade it or don't advertise that you have it. Also the electrical outlet near the bed was so old that it couldn't hold a plug without it falling out. Nice place but needs a little more attention.

Lo único que no me gustó de la habitación que el baño era compartido pero eso no era el problema,el problema era que eran unas puertas corredizas y quedaban abiertas de los dos cuartos y pues cuando uno va al baño quiere privacidad a la mejor si fueran puertas de cerrar no habría ese problema,los calentadores del cuarto no funcionaban pero hay unos que tú puedes conectar por si sientes frío ,no habían muchos toma corriente para cargar tu teléfono. La cama si estaba muy cómoda y muy limpia y ordenada y las toallas limpias . Nos quedamos 2 noches y llegaron a sacar la basura y a cambiar las toallas eso me gustó . Me quedaría nuevamente allí “SI” pero pediría un cuarto con puertas con mas privacidad.

Older but nicely renovated property. Staff friendly. Hot tub was amazing. Luggage stand and thicker hot tub towels would have been nice

The room was cold in the morning; a space heater was in the closet but no heat otherwise. No tissue, shower cap, hand lotion offered. The bed had a flimsy blanket as a back-up. We were disappointed in the lack of amenities considering how much we spent to stay there.

The staff were helpful and location was great, however the bed was very uncomfortable.

Secondly, because they ended up unwilling to do so, brought my daughter trying to make the best of the stay. Charged our cars $750 upfront- the room was sparse, dirty and not kept up. We asked immediately to get our money back due to the insane cost for the sub par room- the front desk woman was aggressive and unprofessional and said “if we gave people’s money back we’d never make any money” I wonder why! Please, never stay here.

Easy access and peaceful. Close to authentic restaurants.

Small but clean room, with comfortable beds and pillows and parking right outside your door. Microwave and fridge working properly. TV picture wasn't great, but we made do. An electrical outlet, box of tissues and a wall hook would have been useful in either the bathroom or sink area. Barn door to toilet/tub area was a bit wonky. Spa wasn't working during our stay, nor was the ice machine. Many nice outdoor seating areas and large enough grounds to walk around with your dog. It was a 10 minute walk to the ocean.

I hope people can read this before booking this expensive but not worth it hotel, we booked it because my wife loves to soak on the Jacuzzi and when we get there it was empty. We were told that the next day it will be working and that never happened, the ice machine wasn’t working either. The room we stayed in we can barely fit in it. It was really tiny. The curtains were ripped off and installed backwards. The parking lot was crowded, we got trouble getting out of it. We called to see if we can get some kind of compensation and the only response we got was “we apologize” but it wasn’t what we were hoping for. Honestly our weekend was ruined. We will never stay in this property again.

Great quiet location. Staff very friendly accommodating an earlier check in. Sufficient parking. Disappointed that the Spa/Hot tub was not operational and the sole facility Ice Machine was out of order during our stay. No rate adjustments were offered. While there was a small coffee maker in the room to make a cup, the office lobby that featured coffee did not open till shortly after 9AM. The room had two ceramic coffee mugs, however a couple of glass or even plastic cups would have been much appreciated. The shower water pressure was great, but the shower pan was slippery with no grab bar installed. Beds were comfortable. While fresh/clean one of the bath towels was in need of replacement due to a couple of holes in it. Would be good to have some counter space around the sink in the bathroom.

Quiet and the location was great. Staff were very friendly. Wouldn’t say dislike. But a bit outdated. Hot tub was out of order.

Staff was absolutely wonderful. They walked us to our room once inside the room. She went over everything with us. The room itself was very well situated as I am someone in a wheelchair. Monterey Peninsula Inn is worth every penny we loved our stay.

This place was cozy, clean and quiet. I would stay again.
