I was really surprised with the looks of the lodge especially with the rooms. I was afraid to turn the lights off, thinking something was gonna crawl on me bad experience for me. The bed felt like it had sand in it. I tried to stay positive. The view was great I was able to see the ocean on my balcony. At the end of the day you get what you pay for.

Nice place to stay close to the beach

The room was functional but old. The furniture in my room was really beat up. I did appreciate the balcony, with a sliver of an ocean view, but the shutters couldn’t be closed enough too fully block out the very bright light right outside the sliding glass door, so it was a lot brighter than I would have liked in my room all night. Cleanliness was just so-so, and the amenities were bare bones. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were terrible. It was ok for a one night stay, but I don’t think I’d stay there again.

Room had very strong smell of lysol type cleaner, tv volume was set so low, couldn't hear. Carpet could be cleaned.

We didn’t see any bedbugs, but he definitely got bitten by something. I feel like this should be brought up to the management as they need to make sure that the room is clean.

Room had cob webs in it. Was warm, no fan or AC. Bathroom was outdated and small. Parking was tight. The screen doors and slider were very old and almost went off the tracks.

The staff was very courteous, professional and helpful. The rooms were clean. But the decore was old and drab. And could use a face lift. Sliding screen door was bent and broken. Garden area around exterior was pretty and peaceful. Location was very nice. Appreciated complimentary coffee and breakfast box.

A simple, sweet place to stay. Bed was nice and firm, not too much so, sheets were nice, bathroom was clean, staff were great. I would definitely stay again. Parking was easy!

Room was clean but property very old. Soap dispenser was broken and housekeeping staff was gone when we checked in at 5pm.

It was good

Great stay, clean room and spacious. Great price and we enjoyed the breakfast which includes a croissant, muffin, and baby bell. Only complaint was the parking and we had to park a 5 min walk from our room. Really not a problem at all. Would recommend

The furniture was well worn and the bath had no bar in the shower/tub and needed updating. But I did love the shutters on the sliding glass doors to the deck, they were cool. If you don't do well on stairs, do not stay on the second floor. they are concrete and there are 27 steps with no mid landing. Location is nice, it was quite.

You can easily walk down to the trail from the hotel but be prepared to walk back uphill once your there, my Garmin clocked it at about half a mile. If you like to run or walk it’s a nice place to do that in the AM. Turn right at the bottom of the hill and the trail takes you to Lovers Point, Cannery Row or keep going to the wharf, turn left and you’ll end up on some 17 mile drive stops…also nice. The hotel itself does not have AC that we could find, only a heater. It has a sliding glass door which was kinda weird. It still uses regular keys. If you want fresh air you’d have to leave the slider open and I guess you can lock that but if I’m by myself and the only thing protecting me in the night from a thief or worse is a screen door I’m probably not going to go with that option. There wasn’t enough parking, so we had to park across the street next to the apartments. They have crossaints, muffins, babybel cheese and coffee and juice boxes for the morning, which was nice. The bathroom was a little small and the tub had a weird slope so might want to be careful. The morning attendant must have been having a bad morning as he was not friendly or engaging, maybe he’s the owner? The lady in the evening was nice. The price was good for where we wanted to be, which was close to the sea. Enjoy! A few rooms have an ocean view, ours did not so if that’s what you want be sure to ask for a room with a view. Seemed like those rooms had real doors, not sliders.

Had a wonderful stay with comfortable beds and breakfast to start the day. The courtyard with pool table, bocce ball, patio seating and fire pit were fantastic! Even our teenagers enjoyed it!
-
Place was decent. Breakfast is just a box. Parking is very hard, if you come late you have to park on the street.

Olympia Lodge was a charming and convenient location. It was clean and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast box was mediocre. The views were great. Hotel is older and the bathroom fixtures are dated, as is the furniture.

Comfortable stop on a long road trip! Convenient location.

Great friendly staff, awesome location. Wish they provide water along with breakfast

Our family appreciated the kind and helpful staff and the complimentary coffee and breakfast every morning.
