The breakfast was a joke, the toilet in our room was for little people very hard to use.

Enjoyed our time. Great location if you want quiet and easy hiking of the coastline.

Spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed. Balcony overlooked a cemetery, which was fine for us but may not be to others, so just putting it out there. Pool and jacuzzi was a fun option for the kids. Complimentary breakfast was limited - bagels with butter, no cream cheese as an option.

Will be booking in the future again

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable overall, but it did have a noticeable bleach smell when we arrived. Unfortunately, not all of the windows were able to open, which made it difficult to air out the room and bring in some fresh air. Having better ventilation would have made our stay more comfortable.

Great location between the beach and downtown Pacific Grove. Bed was properly firm. We booked a suite. A very expensive suite. Pocket doors between the bedroom and living area would not close. There was a small kitchenette but no table or desk to sit and eat at. Gas fireplace was unusable because it immediately triggered the carbon monoxide sensor above it. Complaints to staff were treated with indifference, “oh, those doors never close” and “we never have tables”. Then there were the spiders in a web in the kitchenette, a shower curtain that was both too short and ripped at the top, and what looked like mold in the spa tub jets, all of which tell me how seldom they actually clean.

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. The property was well maintained.

I enjoyed my staying but I didn’t know it was a cemetery behind the property. It was a surprise waking up to the view.

Was not aware that a few feet from our patio were grave sites.this place is old and run down. Shower had a big hole where the shower head comes out. The outlets were cracked, there were spiders and bugs in the room. Everything was outdated and worn out. The house keepers delivered linens and towels in the back of someone’s trunk! We paid over $1000 for three nights, we left and went to the Marriott after the first night. Cannot believe this place has more than 1 star. Wasn’t able to get a refund because I booked through a 3rd party.

Room was big with a very comfortable bed. Service was great. Location is great.

Breakfast was practically nonexistent. Terrible so-called continental breakfast. Not what I expected. I would never stay here again. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Great location, some of the facilities are a bit run down, but still good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff, I would definitely come back to stay here again.

The room had two windows (side by side) that opened and closed but did not lock. The curtain was broken for these windows. All the other windows in the unit were broken (not the glass) they are casement windows that don't work. The unit has pocket doors between the living room and bedroom that are stuck open. The breakfast was so so and often cold.
