I was billed more than the real cost. Then refunded some. But then billed for a Resort Tax. I ask to be refunded to change Hotels. I was refused. Roach's were everywhere. So into our Stay. The Hotel was Closed Down. We were not refunded. We had to move into a different Hotel that was a sister Hotel. It was many miles from the Beach. I ask for a refund. No luck. Was told they were giving us a Upgrade on our room. Which wasn't what we wanted. We wanted to be at the Beach. Not 11 miles from where we Booked the First Room. No Refund. Nothing about the other Hotel was Appealing to Us. Way to far from the Beach. I want a Total Refund. But don't know who to get it from. They told Us we would have to go after them in Court. There wasn't going to be any refund. There was Bed bugs and Roaches at the Laquinta that we were moved to. There was a Prostitute that was next door. People kept knocking looking for her room. We told the staff. They did nothing.

Location and price. Dirty. In disrepair.

Well for starters the property was closed. We didn’t see the email stating it was closed. Pulled up to the front door sandbagged and the parking lot overgrown with weeds. It was a huge eyesore. Only a note on the door advising the facility was closed. We luckily spoke with a nearby hotel who told us to try their sister hotel. It was closed. We didn’t see the email from the facility that went to our junk folder advising the facility was closed and we were re routed to a sister hotel.

I knew that I was not going to be staying at a 5 star hotel due to the reviews and that is why I did not give a 1 star review. I stayed only for the night because it was a mid point for my trip from New Orleans to St Pete. I specifically chose this hotel because of it's location across the street from the beach and closeness to restaurants. Unfortunately it rained all the time I was there and didn't get to enjoy a dip in the ocean. But I'm just surprised that Wyndham would put their name on a property that is so run down, at least the price matched the property.

Was a rip off never go there. Was overcharged, wouldn't give paperwork. Can't get refund. They changed dates. We checked in on the 13 th out 15 th. Charged for three days and more than I booked it for. Place was old, run down. Had no towels , beds were dirty, had vomit on bed under flat sheet. Place had people who were on something and police surrounded it .while there something was thrown on our car luckily it did leave any damage to paint. TV didn't work and tub drained very slow.

Even though the original property I booked with (Baymont by Wyndham Panama City Beach) was closed temporarily during the date I had booked, the property contacted me ahead of time and offered to move my reservation over to a sister hotel (La Quinta Inn and Suites Coastal Palms). They handled this process smoothly so there was no disruption to my travel plans. The new hotel was great - clean, comfortable room, hot tub & swimming pool, fast WiFi and free hot breakfast. No complaints whatsoever. I would happily book here again

THIS PROPERTY IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!! We paid for the room through Booking.com and now trying to figure out how to get my money back. No one would answer a phone. I went to a sister hotel and they said that there was nothing they could do. It took us 3 hours to find another hotel because everything was full. There were other people in the Baymont parking lot that paid for the night and were left with nothing like us. Locals said that it has been closed for a long time. HOW IN THE HELL ARE THEY STILL TAKING PEOPLE'S MONEY??? Sure wish I would have taken a picture!!! Horrible!!!

They even had to relocate everyone that weekend it was so bad

I didnt like a thing I didnt like that I booked this room 3 or 4 weeks in advance and I drove 8 hours to get there just to be told when I arrive that they are unable to check me in that they had been told not to check anyone else in that they were closing down and for me to be in the same town for 5 days just to see that they in fact did check more people in and were still open I had to find another room and pay extra money that I wasn't expecting to pay I didn't get an email a phone call nothing just we can't check you in dont hate us it was very unprofessional

Good location The pictures are from years ago. The building is filthy and falling apart. The so-called breakfast is cereal and frozen burritos. We found cockroaches in our bed on our last night there, so we just left.

The Pluming was messed up

Shower- was not draining properly, did not receive any towels at all during my stay. The door had discoloration to them. Tv- kept losing channels, that may have been due to the weather though. Elevator- was only working like 50% of the time and was very slow. The ceiling and walls had water damage to them. When i came back to my room the first night, the room had smelled like mold, might have been where the water was leaking onto the floor from the AC unit. It was so bad that i only stayed in the room I paid for, for one night, rest of the trip I went and stayed with my friend in a different hotel.

The only thing i liked about the Baymont is its close to beach access. There was a lot i didn’t like about the property. The hotel was not clean. The whole stay we didn’t have towels for shower. The toilets don’t work right. The atmosphere and people that was staying there made me uncomfortable. The staff was not friendly. I will never stay here again.
-
The room was not clean and had roaches and spiders I didn’t like the fact that the room wasn’t clean. Sheets and covers was stained.
-
The staff very friendly The floor and walls stayed wet with moisture, had to buy a mop. The tub won't drain and mainly mold on walls, ceiling and pillows and mattress. When you plugged up charger you would get shocked due to moisture on floor. Had to wear shoes the entire stay.
