the wingate lynn haven / panama city area location has a bunch of amazing staff and they deserve to be recognized! we accidentally left behind a pillow of sentimental value and they were amazing at finding it and helping us getting it shipped back to us! especially the morning attendant Thelma! i will say the night attendant Savannah, i think her name was, was not very helpful, I called and asked her specifically since she checked us in, if she could ask the cleaning crew in the morning if they would double check if they found the pillow, but she refused! called the next morning and Thelma went above and beyond for us! other than that amazing staff, amazing hotel, great service, great rooms, and yummy breakfast! please share my absolute gratitude to Thelma and the cleaning crew for helping us! they’re rockstars and deserves the recognition!

They were very friendly.

Overall it was a very nice quiet place to stay. The only downfall was the breakfasts and maid service.

The property was ok but my room had a musty smell to it.

The staff was very welcoming and the rooms were nice and clean.

Very clean rooms and facilities. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good, continental breakfast with eggs. Indoor pool and hot tub were great. Our bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great.

Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were helpful. The parking lot is nice. You park under solar panels, which gives you light at night and shade during the day.

I specifically chose this hotel as it was noted Pet Friendly and that it was. Front desk staff was nice. The breakfast food was decent. The room and bathroom was very well cleaned upon our arrival. The pool was clean and nice. It’s was quite at the appropriate times which was nice as we had a day at the beach and was tired out and slept in with no issues. I would recommend staying here. And it was decently priced.

The observation was about the maintenance staff member. I know their are honest people and dishonest people in the country/world. When I was checking out 7/17/26. I observation a maintenance worker bring a gold necklace with a gold charm to the front desk that he found doing his work duties. This is a testimony of good people in this country. Have you seen gold prices per ounce these days. I applaud this person character.

The rooms were amazing. Breakfast could have been changed up every day. It was the same every day but it was good the first 2 days. We went out for breakfast afterwards. I think there should be a mat or something to prevent falls in the elevator other than the sign stating that its maybe slippery because people coming from pool and jacuzzi at all times have floor wet and slippery. Other than that I had a wonderful time and stay

We had a great stay. It was very quiet, good area. The pool and hot tub/pool area was clean. Our room was clean. The whole hotel was kept clean and smelled nice. Would definitely stay again.

It was a good place to sleep and leave as soon as I woke up, overall. Honestly, I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest price in the Panama City Beach area that I could afford and I will never stay in a Super 8, La Quinta or motel in the area EVER AGAIN! The room was “cleaned,” or should I say, the used towels were taken everyday and replaced, that was it. Trash started piling up on the third day, so I started taking it out myself. One elevator was down for entire stay (5 days) and took the stairs after the second day because I got tired of waiting over 5 minutes for it on the 4th floor. Yea, I timed it to make sure I wasn’t being over critical. I didn’t realize how long 5 minutes really is till i timed it. Tried the breakfast the first morning then skipped it the rest of the trip; Potatoes were frozen in the middle, eggs and sausage were both rubbery somehow and one individual was flat out told the pot of coffee was all they had and that was it. He was not happy and I’m glad I don’t drink coffee. Overall good stay because the bed was sleepable, AC and fridge worked, hot water for a well needed shower everyday and the solar panels for a mostly covered parking lot kept the car cooler in Florida sun.

The gym needs better ventilation and wipes for the machines.
