The staff was incredibly welcoming. The restaurant was delightful . The location was great to Salem !

Wonderful staff and amenities! We really enjoyed our stay here!

We had a short stay at the Bell Inn but it was quite a treat. A beautiful room and friendly staff.

We loved our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Our only complaint would be the street noise. Lots of sirens at night. We used earplugs and slept fine. So bring ear plugs!

.It is a beautiful property and the staff was helpful. We enjoyed the music trivia night at the hotel. the room was spacious and well appointed. The only drawback is noisy traffic close by.

We went down to the tavern on the patio to have dinner and joined Music Bingo. We had a wonderful time (thanks, Maria!), won a round, and our Caesar salad was comped. It was a short drive to Salem and downtown Peabody was lovely. We’d definitely stay here again. One note for those with mobility issues: The third floor involves an elevator to the second floor and a flight of stairs to the third. Ask for the second floor.

Unexpected & pleasantly surprised: * Elevator * Continental breakfast in the second floor common area * Complimentary bottled water in the room * Overhead lighting AND dual bedside reading lights * A small frig with pay-as-you-go adult alcoholic beverages (did not do, but nice to have the option) * Plenty of towels and soap/shampoo * Adjustable heat pump Oddities AND disappointments: * ONLY 1 wastebasket and it was in the bathroom * No place to put recyclables * No bath mat (a bit slippery) and no floor mat to step out onto * Flat sheet OVER the comforter and then only a fitted sheet so I took the top sheet and comforter apart and flipped them so the flat sheet was against my skin * The room had 2 windows which were small, high up & beyond my reach so I was unable to adjust the blinds. There was light pollution filtering in during the dark hours (luckily I had an eye mask).

My stay at The Bell Inn was wonderful! The bed was so comfortable...I slept really well! The food at the The Cellar was excellent! I would stay here again!
-
The staff make you feel right at home and they truly make you feel like they are happy that you chose to stay there. It makes us want to return again. Enjoyed the outdoor courtyard very much!

excellent service thanks would recommend

For a place with a tavern/restaurant, the ‘continental breakfast’ was measly.

There was hardly ever anyone on staff available. On Thursday night the music from the bar was too loud to sleep and then people were talking loud in the common area past two a.m. and there was no staff to quiet them down. The room was tiny and with only a small window that you had to be on a stool to see out of.
-
My experience was pretty bad. They were playing music till one in the morning. You could hear the base in my room. All night my tub would not drain when I took a shower and then a lady knocked on my door at nine o'clock to ask me if I drove a certain car and I did not.And I told them what I drove never again

Everything was great. The room was impeccably clean, but we were missing face cloths, the lights above the beds didn't work (needed new lightbulbs maybe?), and the TV remote was missing. It was late at night when we discovered these things so no one was there to call and it certainly wasn't an emergency. Nothing we couldn't live without but just wanted you to know for the next guests. Breakfast was excellent as usual and we had fun visiting the Cellar Bar for the first time. Lovely! We always enjoy staying at the Inn!

Hotel was clean and very comfortable, great amenities. Staff Noelle was exceedingly helpful and kind, convenient location and historical charm. water pressure a bit low, but not awful
-
The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious, all for a fair price. The check in process was simple and staff were able to accommodate our early check-in needs. We loved the "speakeasy" bar and décor of the inn. Loved that we were able to stay in a homey setting with friends and family. Would definitely recommend for families/groups that will be booking multiple rooms!

They were still cleaning our rooms at 4pm which seemed ridiculous since checkout was at 11am and they have literally less than 10 rooms in the entire building. Not a nice vibe when we came in just before check in. Seemed the Manager was not wanting to deal with us and other employees had a stressed vibe about them. Event in the Basement area went on late and we could hear music all the way up to the 2nd floor. People were out in the yard of the Inn screaming and cussing and drunk it seemed at 3am! None of my family got any sleep to say the least!
