I don’t see how this hotel had such great reviews. It makes no sense to me. Rooms are old and dirty, and loud and have weird floor plans. The only good thing about this hotel is the rooftop bar/ restaurant. There is nothing else good about this place. I had the worst time finding it, and checking in. Such a waste of a night.

The staff and location were awesome! Our room was eclectic and really nice! The rooftop bar had beautiful views! Our room was on the top floor below the rooftop bar. It could get a bit noisy when they had to roll around the kegs, but overall a good experience!

The hotel staff are awesome and helpful. Hotel is centrally located in the pedestrian section of Essex. MTBA parking is only an 8 minute walk and very inexpensive.

Beautiful property in the heart of Salem! It sits in the center of all things any visitor would want to do while visiting Salem. Exceptional staff!! VERY welcoming and helpful! We’ll absolutely stay here again! Don’t forget to check out the roof top!!!

Very central location on main pedestrianised road. Very convenient for exploring Salem on foot. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. 24/7 coffee and filtered water available. Nice roof top bar. When arriving during the day you have to enter through an out of service bar/restaurant. We nearly thought we had the wrong place! The hotel reception is tucked away on the side - some clear signage at the front to direct hotel customers would be helpful! There is also no hotel parking due to the location in a pedestrian zone. Public lot parking is nearby but finding a space can be challenging and you have to be prepared to walk 5-10 mins with your luggage.

Room was clean. I think it’s the best location. It’s right by everything. It is a very cute. The rooftop diner had really good food.
