Motel 6 Peoria, IL

I booked 3 night stay for a tournament I would be playing coming from out of state. The first night there I had to complain multiple times about the room above us jumping around till 2am. The staff never went up there to say anything. They moved my room 2nd night to help with the noise as the family would be there all weekend as well. The second night there was a minor leak from the ceiling vent in the bathroom. Very minor. I stayed away from the room most of that day then came back for 3rd night noticed there was still a VERY minor leak that still hadn't soaked a hand towel the whole time. When I woke up from the last night my room was flooded. The bathroom had over an inch of water and it leaked out to the room and past the first bed. The staff said this had never happened before but you could tell bathroom door had water damage on the bottom. There was trash all over the parking lot and looked like someone puked outside the front door until it rained and washed it away.

Too much weed smoke, too many dogs barking, and there is no do not disturb sign to hang on door. Not a good place if work night shift. You will be woken up.

The property was unclean with broken down vehicles in the parking lot. The back door was completely broken no security to the building. One of the two rooms we had the deadbolt didn’t work and the door wouldn’t shut completely without force. The bathroom sinks were ripped off the wall and poorly reattached. The faucets moved so much from being broken they were almost unusable. The linens and pillows were stained and nasty. The beds were worse. The floors had never been swept it appears as dirt and hair were visible everywhere. The shower floor was slimy and dirty. The bathroom floor had pieces of copper Brillo pad everywhere and the towels were hung up folded dirty with makeup and god knows what else on them. Toilet seat was not clean. No new shampoo and the soap was used and stuffed back in a bag. The usb Power charge ports did not work in the nightstand and inside the drawer was ashes and debris that smelled horrible. The tv constantly told us we needed a code so no channels were available to watch except Alfred Hitchcock. The curtains were dirty and falling off the rod. The screen in the window had been broken and hanging half out the window. Some of the windows to the rooms were broken entirely. This was hands down the worst and sketchiest place I have ever been in my whole life. We checked out the next day before end of our trip because we refused to stay another night and we paid for multiple rooms. I feel ripped off and only slept about 2 hours it was so nasty.

This place is a dump. The outside door doesn’t lock so people can come and go all night. My room was full of bugs, after the 6th roach I killed I left at 3am realizing I would not get a wink of sleep in that room. Bathroom and bedroom were disgusting. Walls and floors and sheets had stains. Will never go back.

It had roaches and bed bugs and was not clean

The rooms/hotel smelled really bad and when we left our clothes we were wearing and even in our bag had the same terrible odor.

Very nice desk help. Rooms very outdated. We could not figure the TV out but we just needed a place to sleep.

There was poop and blood on the walls. It was by far the grossest place I’ve ever stayed at. Stay far far away.

Front desk was very helpful and attentive. Glad to find a Bible in the drawer.
