The Peoria Hotel, SureStay Collection by Best Western

The place was under new management from last year. Nice people but customers service is not their forte. Walking in the place smelled like gym socks. There was barely any air conditioning in the lobby or hallways. Stains on the sofa in my room and on the carpet. The breakfast was ice cold and not good. I won’t be back.

The hotel was undergoing construction, and there was debris everywhere. The property was extremely dirty—the only thing that appeared reasonably clean was the bed. The room looked and smelled as though it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. Overall, the experience felt more like staying at a Motel 6 than at the hotel I expected. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

This room was the nicest and Best Buy on ou 8 day trip. I highly recommend it.

Comfy beds, good breakfast

This isn’t even an official best western. False advertising. This place did not allow us to switch dates of our stay, and yet they advertised that they had a pool — we get here and the pool is under maintenance. They didn’t care to disclose that on the website. I would say to stay at another place.

I like the location Beds wasn't comfortable....bedspread had urine stain on then . The vouch had stains all on it it carpets was nasty bathrooms was nasty blood stains around the tub and floor. Went and complained which rooms bedspread had urine stains got new one still dirty ! Pool wasn't open which is why I booked this hotel! I was charged 2 different prices for the 3 days I booked and with the bsd experience they wouldn't discount due to the room situation smfh I won't be going back to their facility again and for now on I will call the hotel beforehand to make sure the pool is open! And the bad part about it the manager said he know about the rooms having stains everywhere smfh they need to be closed down!

Location is great. Property is in mid-renovation….building materials are strewn throughout the area. Existing/old fixtures and carpet are pretty dismal. May be a decent place to stay AFTER they complete the update. Good news: beds are crisp, clean and comfortable.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was so helpful and sweet! The room was beautiful! The only two issues we had was there was a strong odor in the hallway to our room. And the AC did not work well at all! Our room was barely cool enough to sleep. Honestly though I will definitely stay there again. I'm hoping the issues we experienced were just because half the hotel was under construction. Please fix the AC!!!!!

Hotel appeared in disrepair, almost like it was a renovation project. Pool was broken, boxes scattered all over….

I was able to check in early so that was a bonus. The staff were approachable. The room is clean. The breakfast was good. There's some remodeling going on but it's not noisy. Only issue was ice build-up in the fridge but they brought up another one. No problem.

the room we were given was in the un-remodeled portion of the hotel. It was not well maintained and seemed dirty. The neighborhood was very sketchy and didn't feel very safe. We would never stay there again and recommend you don't!

The lobby area was a work in progress when I came in, and the room was spacious and had potential, but the carpet was stained and old, as was the furniture. Some of it broken and hanging from a thread. The bed looked like the sheets weren't replaced but just made to look the part. In all, everything in me signaled not to stay. It felt dirty, somewhat noisy, and unsafe. I literally checked out 20 minutes after I checked in and left. Interestingly I checked two more hotels, both in similar condition. I ended sleeping in one that kinda looked better coming in, but the room was pretty horrendous. I don't know what's going on in Peoria - but it's a blatant lie to advertise this hotel as well as the others as legit and charge quite the fee. Do better.

Everything worked well and was in decent shape if a little bit dated. The breakfast was nice. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. For the price you can't beat it

My bed will be made daily , and the room was fresh . Everything was under construction . Ice machine , pool was out of order , material of construction everywhere , dust everywhere , elevator dirty , carpet stains , wall stains , broken lamp. I would have never booked if I knew the hotel was under construction.

The room was a mess. Bugs all over the floor, wrappers on the floor, tub was rusty, bath mat was wet. Furniture in lobby was worn badly. We asked for a different room and the second room had chip crumbs on the floor so it wasn’t vacuumed either. I asked for a vacuum and vacuumed it myself. I was not offended a refund even after complaining to two different staff members. This place is absolutely disgusting.

Terrible. I paid for a king size got a room with two doubles. The air conditioner was working poorly! It took over two hours for room to cool off, the carpet was heavy stained, the toliet made a God awful loud noise for at least 2mins after flushing. I will never stay here again

The hotel is under construction so alot of the review has to do with that yet I dod check into my room and the pillows were stained, the tub has rust spots in it. Was given another room and many of the same issues along with the air conditioner not being properly installed.
