Clean room, staff and location

Excellent hotel by the train station with perfect 1 person rooms. I had a window that wouldn't fully close which made traffic a little bother when trying to sleep. They had a buffet breakfast and comfy lobby chairs. Staff was also very accommodating for when my room key wasn't working and gave me a replacement. Worth the prince.

Bed was terrible. No AC controller in the room. Breakfast was good

The neighborhood is nice and felt safe. Liked the old style but the room had 2 vitamins underneath the baseboard that I could clearly see when I walked into the room. The AC window unit ran but would cut out and was loud when it came back on. Breakfast was decent. All-in-all it was fine. Would I stay there again? Most likely not.

Our stay was fabulous. The Alexander Inn has old school charm and the location is unbeatable. The free nightly social and breakfast was fantastic. I would 100% stay there again the next time I visit Philadelphia.

Great location, very quaint room. Price was good too

The hotel was in a fantastic central area with a spacious room and very nice and helpful staff. The room was very outdated and musty. Bed was comfortable, pillows were not. I prefer a more updated and prettier hotel experience. Bathroom had tile that appeared to be from the 60s. Old but in good condition.
