We have stayed here many times in the past. It was practically our home away from home when we needed a place to stay in Philly. We don’t get to the city as much anymore. It’s been a while, not much has changed except the staff which is not as friendly and engaging as it used to be. The rooms are ok but the entire place needs an update. The continental breakfast could use some additional options, I miss the pastries. Coffee was cold. The waffle station is a nice addition tho. We will continue to stay here because we like the location and are familiar with the layout. One other thing it was plenty quiet for a holiday weekend and no complaints about that at all.

Clean and very well located.

Great one night stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff
-
Historic place that could be better if not was refreshed. Carpets feel dirty to walk on. Has good bones, but needs a refurbishment.

Staff were wonderful. The breakfast however was disappointing especially the waffle maker that would not release the waffle even after using the release agent and the lack of variety of yogurt ( only plain). The lack of tongs to select the breads and bagels is a safety concern. The room was small but clean and comfortable.

I enjoyed that the property was near by to many places to visits, the area was clean and felt safe, and the staff were very nice and helpful! Some things that I wish could be better were more breakfast options, more amenities in the room (like a microwave), and a bigger bathroom space to place personal toiletries. Besides that, this place was sufficient and very convenient for a short trip and would recommend.

Nice staff. Cool happy hour with wine and beer. Pretty good location.

Quaint hotel in a great part of town.

Plus-wise, this hotel offers a free breakfast in a small diningroom plus two free happy hour drinks. The receptionist was nice. But the room was freezing and there was no way to control the AC, plus no coffee maker, fridge, or microwave. The bed was uncomfortably hard. I wouldn't stay there again, but if you want a free breakfast and the happy hour drinks go for it.

The staff, location, breakfast The AC didnt keep the room as cool as we would have liked

Breakfast offerings were just OK, but the 5-7 free wine social hour was very nice. The room was well kept and housekeeping was very thorough. They also post interesting nearby events on a bulletin board in the (very small) elevator, which I appreciated, and the staff overall was very kind. The Kandinsky print in our room was hung upside down, lol. Definitely a budget hotel with overall very good value.

Comfortable stay. We stay again.

The toilets are horrible always need a plunger when I stay here’. Also the staff at the front desk needs to be friendlier
-
It used to be a good stay when I first stayed here and the hospitality went down.
-
renovation. Tiles in my bathroom were worn as was carpeting. There is no good AC system just old fashioned noisy window units (mine hadn’t been cleaned in a while)
-
Very clean and well kept. Staff very and helpful. Air conditioning was perfect.

It had a cozy feeling with amazing staff and great assistance. For every little inconvenience great care came in abundance. I can't wait until my visit.

This Inn is absolutely charming and in a great location. I enjoyed the breakfast and daily social hour! I can’t wait to find a reason to stay again.

My wife & I have stayed repeatedly at this cozy boutique style hotel. It checks all the comfort stay boxes for us. Welcoming staff, clean rooms with character, breakfast and the added bonus of a free wine and cheese, meet & greet. We recommend this hotel highly. Bob & Michelle

Staff was great! Convenient location and breakfast and reception were great. AC had trouble keeping up with record heat that week.
