Staff was wonderful. It was great having an evening special and small continental style breakfast. My only complaint was the bathroom certainly could and should have been cleaner. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Also frustrating: the parking garage, which had a notice that it was full, and no one to ask about hotel parking. We took a chance and went in anyway, and found many spaces wide open. The staff was just wonderful, which makes up for a lot!

The evening social time and breakfast were disappointing. Not like the website shows. They were out of a lot of things. The location was a bit far from tourist spots.

Location, location, location. All must sees in historic area are easy walk.

Good location, nice staff. Saddest continental breakfast I’ve ever seen. Very small bathrooms, skin ran the entire time we were there, very small shower/tub, bad water pressure, unclean shower head.

Breakfast was a nice addition, The bread and cereal and hard boiled eggs were good. There never seemed to be enough silverware. The waffle machine was tricky to use and many people had trouble with it. The coffee dispenser was old and required many pumps to get a cup. The evening cocktails was a nice surprise and appreciated. This was my third time staying there and I will probably stay there again.

No water pressure, luke warm water, shower head didn't work very well, smells like mildew in the room, flying bugs in the bathroom. Tiny room and can hear the neighbors and everything from outside. Just blinds on the windows so the room never gets dark because of all the streetlights.

Such a charming hotel! Stayed for two nights - the staff was wonderful and our room was cozy. They held our bags before check in so we could explore, and were helpful with suggestions on things to do. The happy hour and continental breakfasts are nice offerings. Location is central but still quiet.

Very poor. Coffee and rwo kinds of cold cereal, hard boiled eggs and waffle maker that didn't work well.

What a nice hotel,,,real character in a historic neighborhood. The room was very comfortable, including the king size bed. The social hour with wine, beer, & a wide variety of snacks led, was a classy touch.

The room was clean and the cleaning staff did a good job when I would come back to my room each day. The breakfast was much to be desired. Coffee would run out, silverware would run out, seating would run out. Don't expect a hot breakfast, with the exception of the waffle maker option, but expect to wait in line. The staff running the breakfast were friendly and were as helpful as they could be, but they seemed not to have been working under ideal conditions. The rooms are in desperate need of an upfit. The mattress I slept on was very uncomfortable. There is a passive-aggressive sign at eyelevel when you sit on the toilet justifying the singly-ply toilet paper. There is no refrigerator, microwave, nor coffee maker in the room. The drawers on the furniture were not working well in my room. My toilet took an eternity to fill back up after flushing so the sound of running water would go on for about ten minutes. The carpet felt sticky under bare feet.

Our stay was brief but pleasant. The staff was very helpful. The room was small - cozy, but perfectly sufficient for my husband and me. The location was great. The walk to the parking garage was only a couple blocks; as long as you don't have a ton of luggage, it's very doable.

Woeful nosedive in breakfast offerings and highly variable attendance to things like keeping the coffee dispensers filled. Real butter is now sometimes available upon request but is not put out on the buffet. This is Philadelphia— why no genuine Philadelphia cream cheese? No danishes. Only hard boiled eggs, … The keypad on the safe ceased working for one number… This hotel survives only because of its marvelous location, and its super friendly staff. Suggest raising prises just enough to cover putting out a better breakfast.

Place is ok but I wont go back. Location is great. Unfortunately, the shower filled on the first night and never drained the entire weekend. No parking whatsoever.
