Guild House Hotel

Excellent all around! Very responsive and we loved the historic aspects of the hotel. Renovation was true to the time period.

They literally thought of everything and my room was gorgeous - the perfect mix of old with new and modern -stopping to unload our bags was the only glitch but now that I have figured that out it would Never stop me from staying here again I actually can't wait to stay again and select another gorgeous room

Wonderful stay! We loved this quaint inn. Awesome location, nice large room and great history. Communications were excellent. We will definitely be back!

Great for what it is- a very nice room. Would benefit hugely from a staffed reception and a bar. Would not recommend if you have large, heavy bags- no elevator and the dumbwaiter only fits a smaller suitcase. We were on the 4th floor so that was a struggle. Lovely room though.

Nice to stay in a place with history and character. Everything was very well done. Comfortable, clean and easy. Great neighborhood with lots of interesting eating options, easy walk or subway ride wherever you want to go.

It is not a real hotel. We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. No water in the room. You have to text to find out information, because they won’t even allow phone calls. They should warn you to reserve parking ahead of time. Bed was lumpy

Truly gorgeous spot! Building is full of classic charm & thoughtful design Since it’s an old building there is no elevator - not an issue for us but something to consider

I liked the fact the old property takes you back the late 1800s. Our room was so dusty. It was crazy, dust and dirt on top of the bed cupboard, I had to clean my nightstand because of the amount of dirt and dust. That included the tea table and the banister and the books on the banister.

We would not stay again. It is like a lovely B&B, without the breakfast or any people.

Lovely, personalized rooms with great history and attention to detail and admiration of the women that it is being paid homage to

A little hiccup with my room assignment at arrival but resolved. Text inquires are responded within minutes if not sooner. It feels like walking onto the early 20th century when entering. Excellent and safe location. My "go to" spot when visiting Philadelphia. N/A

Great stay in the heart of Philly!

If you like style and unique surrounds in a great neighborhood, this place is for you!

Hotel is lovely. Immaculately clean and the decor is thoughtful and beautiful. Very comfortable and I felt very safe as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at The Guild House. We chose a first-floor, street-facing room, which was beautifully appointed with charming wood details, fireplace tilework, and a unique collection of books to browse. The shower was truly fantastic.. possibly the best water pressure I’ve ever experienced! The staff was responsive and easily accessible by text, and the thoughtful welcome treats were the perfect touch. A great stay for a couple who appreciates Philadelphia history & architecture. :-)

Overall a really nice experience.

Beautiful room and great location!

First Class!
