Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown/Center City

Had a slight issue when checking in but the staff went above and beyond to communicate and fix it which I really appreciated. Elevators and hallways were very hot which is my only minor complaint. The king suite is very spacious and the entire property is well maintained. It’s very close to attractions and is in a very walkable neighborhood. It’s not in the heart of center city, but the price can’t be beat.

The TV did not work well. Over all fine stay.

The staff was excellent but the room was VERY small and the air conditioner was not working. They did not provide additional fans.

Room was clean

The complimentary breakfast is a solid, convenient perk. The staff is the true highlight—warm, attentive, and thoughtful to provide bottled water. The "hot water" at the breakfast buffet was merely warm.

Great breakfast options and good location. The surrounding street is extremely noisy and the deli across the street gets deliveries every day at 4am and it will wake you up if your room is on the Deli side.

Arrived to the hotel to be notified that their wasn't air in the rooms. It was a maintenance issue that wasn't going to be resolved for days. Things happen; however, the hotel should have called and informed the guests. I had to find another hotel the same night as my arrival.

The staff is amazing!! There is a parking lot down the street for $38 instead of $70 at the hotel

Everything was very clean and the staff was excellent. The room was reasonably provisioned, but tiny. It was barely bigger than the bed. The overall hotel is dated but acceptable. The breakfast was so disappointing. Very overcooked eggs (browned, even!), some sausage, yogurt and bread. Apple juice and orange juice. I have had substantially better continental breakfasts at MUCH cheaper hotels. Location was amazing and it was during the World Cup, so the price is understandable, but at that price they need to do better on the breakfast.
