DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City

Staff was great. Building is old so the plumbing is weird but serviceable. The A/C was nice and cold, beds were soft. One of the better experiences I have had in a hotel. Would definitely come again thanks to the helpful staff

Great location! The hotel was within easy walking distance of some of the sites we wanted to visit.

The lobby was crowded when we got there but front desk moved smoothly. The waitstaff @ the bar were friendly. There were cold water stations in the lobby which were great given the heat wave. The room was comfortable but somewhat outdated. The hair conditioner in the shower was empty. I do love Crabtree & Evelyn toiletry products though.

The best thing about the property is the location. Ridiculous that you have to pay $48/day for parking with no discount for hotel guests. We were charged a service and delivery fee for ordering room service. There was also spilled water on the elevator floor nearly every time we used it. Lastly, we should have received two water bottles each day (we received only one on the day of arrival), especially given the 100+ degree heat outside.

Nice place, great location! We spent three nights in Philly at Doubletree and had a wonderful experience. We were walking distance to many historical sites, and a convenient Uber to every place else. The train station entrance was literally on our same corner, which made a ride to the Phillies game a cinch. At the front desk, Janee’ was particularly helpful and friendly…a great ambassador for both Doubletree and Philadelphia. One drawback…a delicious and ample breakfast is available (but not included), but the $30pp price tag seemed a bit pricey to me.

Beyond my expectations. The only thing that I wished for was BETTER LIGHTING in the room.

I loved how they have the parking garage next to the hotel and it’s $48 for overnight stay that you just need to give ur room key to the attendant at the garage to exit. Even you check out of the hotel next day, you can park till 11:59pm on that next day so it’s super convenient. The instruction was given super clear by the front desk on Check in and check out date and the sign in the garage was also very clear. We had a pleasant stay and will definitely stay there again if we go to Philly by car.

The staff were SO FRIENDLY. Way nicer than they should be with a packed house here for a big event (World Cup). The hotel itself was perfectly fine. But would Ecco this to anyone in the city.
