Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport

This hotel is definitely an older property and could’ve used a little sprucing up. We checked into our room at approximately 6 PM, and since we were six hours behind from a trip to Italy, we were really tired. One of us decided to take a shower before we went to bed and found out the shower was completely broken. We called the front desk and a nice member of the maintenance staff came but was unable to fix it — and said we needed to move rooms. By this time it was closer to 10 o’clock at night, which meant it was about four in the morning to us. Even though our room was right next-door, we ended up moving all of our luggage ourselves. It’s hard to understand how the cleaning staff would not have noticed that the water valve in the shower was completely broken. A few lights were also missing lightbulbs. When we checked out, I asked about the possibility for a partial refund but since we booked it online, they acted like they were unable to do anything. I’m not sure I’d really recommend this hotel after what happened but the burger we had at the hotel bar was very good.

Very nice restaurant good service. Not a lot of extras in the room. 5:30 AM smoke alarm because of a carbon sensor problem was definitely unexpected.

The staff was wonderful, especially Gloria at the front desk. Very kind and cordial and sorted out my problem.

The first issue was the airport shuttle. After returning our rental car, we waited quite a while for pickup. When the shuttle finally arrived, it drove right past us. We later learned it was already full, but the driver didn't stop or even acknowledge us...just kept going. A simple explanation or wave would have gone a long way. Check-in didn't improve things. The front desk staff weren't particularly welcoming or friendly, which wasn't the best first impression after a long day of travel. We had dinner at the hotel bar that evening. The bartender was clearly overwhelmed and spent much of the time complaining about how busy things were and that she was training someone who wasn't trainable. While we certainly understand busy shifts happen, it made for an uncomfortable dining experience. The food itself was just average. On the positive side, our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep before our flight.

It doesn't look like a Marriot brand hotel.

Hotel is close to the airport, that was the bet part. Overnight parking was expensive and we actually moved our car to airport parking and came back by shuttle. We were 3 adults and paid the extra yet there was no bedding provided for the pull out couch. When we received it was less than optimal, blanket as thin as a sheet. When we checked in we were told that the water would be shut off from 3am to as late as 8am. Since we were leaving early we inquired about availability of water for brushing teeth etc. They gave us 2 small water bottles. Not a stellar stay.

We were told upon check in on Wednesday evening that there would be no hot water Thursday morning from 3am-8am. By 9am Thursday morning there still was no hot water. I called the front desk and was told that it would be “a couple of hours” until there was hot water. We had a World Cup match to get to so cold showers it was. On Friday morning there was again no hot water. Upon check out I was told by Lorraine that that was unexpected and she would refund one of my rooms for both nights. Well it’s two days later and nothing. I paid a lot of money for cold showers both days.

Overall good bathroom needs more attention

A bit outdated rooms but friendly staff and good breakfast.

The corner of the ceiling in the sitting area looked like it had water damage. The shower curtain did not cover the opening adequately and allowed water to get on the floor which was a smooth tile that became slippery. The bathtub was REALLY slippery, but standing on a towel in the shower helped. There was a constant sound that I can best describe as a distant horn honking that kind of kept me up and I didnt sleep well. It was something inside, was not a car horn outside as i heard ot all the time both nights. Pillows got super flat overnights.

I loved the location of this hotel and the airport shuttle was on time. The bathroom needed some work done it was looking worn out. The front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful.

Conveniently located, the room was exceedingly comfortable and very clean and well appointed. And as promised, the shuttle arrived at precisely 5 AM and I had a trouble-free, timely ride to the airport, which was one of the reasons I booked this location.
