Baymont by Wyndham Pierre

Room had an unpleasant odor upon entry. Not a "fresh", welcoming smell.

No Ice Machine, but other then that, a great place to stay!

Never saw the room as the door card lock system was broken. They didn’t know how to move me to a new room either. Finally the car chargers weren’t powered and the didn’t know how to turn them on. I gave up and left

The beds were nice & comfortable. The TV didn't work. The sink drain was broken. The hair dryer didn't work alarm clock didn't work. There was duct tape on the floor covering holes in the carpet. The free breakfast was disgusting!

Rooms were Very clean and no weird smells like some places I’ve stayed! Just a quaint quiet place and if I ever visit Pierre again I will definitely be staying at the Baymont

Excellent value, well maintained property.

I wasn't aware that we would need more towels until I was stepping into the shower. (Check the number of towels in your room before getting naked.) Breakfast in the morning was less than dismal. There was nothing hot (although we could have made our own waffle). There was cereal and milk, some bread for toast, the coffee was barely warm -- so if a hotel is going to offer breakfast, there really should actually BE breakfast available. (And when the clerk was alerted to the meager offerings by another guest, she was not overly accommodating and barely looked up from whatever it was she was working on -- not a good impression).

Nasty everything

The staff was lazy and sleeping on their shift in one of the rooms. My reservation was lost but my card was charged, gave my room away upon my arrival. I was then downgraded and attempted to be charged again. The walls and ceiling were falling apart in the first room they downgraded me to and tile coming up in the 2nd room I was moved to with no blanket or towels.

This was an older property. Nothing is perfect, the breakfast could have been better, but I slept perfectly well. Perfect for a 1-night pit stop. For the cost, I'd stay there again.

I echo the other poor reviews on this hotel. I would not stay here again. The room had obvious mold and mildew, and I had an allergic reaction. My room key worked on and off all week and the locking mechanism on my door did the same thing. I had to go to the front desk multiple times throughout the week to ensure my safety. There was no coffee or breakfast to speak of in the mornings, and my room was never restocked with towels or other items. The bathroom light only worked off and on. The refrigerator had a broken thermostat and everything in it froze solid. I will say that the front desk staff was responsive to me each time.

First the room smelled like mold and the bathroom had flies and gnats in it. Carpet smelled like weed and cigarettes room wasn’t cleaned probably the head board had stains on it of god knows what

Needs some updates, but priced reasonably.

No AC through out the building, only in the rooms. Breakfast was cold. Room was never serviced each day. You only get a fitted sheet and a sheet on your bed. Definitely in need of some upgrading.

I was very disappointed. I thought the Wyndham had to have certain standards to be a part of the Wyndham group. There were cigarette butts all over the parking lot and the place just looked dirty throughout. I'm sure they cleaned the room but when I got to the door it was open with a washcloth on the floor holding it open. Why was it even open? The nightstand had stains from cups being used by previous guests but I didn't stay long enough to do a real lookover. I booked in advance or I would not have stayed. The staff seemed nice enough but I'm not there to make friends. The place needs a renovation and higher standards.

Breakfast was horrible at 8:30. No coffee, apple juice or eggs. Staff made no attempt at refilling.

Hard beds

When walking in door of room it smelled musty and wet. Security lock on door was missing, shower curtain looked like it had not been washed in a very long time. Breakfast was terrible, eggs and sausage were ice cold. Would not recommend staying here.

The beds were hard as a rock! No hand towels, wash clothes or shower mat. The breakfast didn't look edible. The eggs looked rubbery

1 set of towels in the room that was booked for 2 adults coming from Sturgis so was too tired to complain. Mold ate the shower ceiling into the entry to the room. Electrical Plug next to the sink facing the door that had the hair dryer was black from an electrical short. Coming from CA to VA this was the 2nd most expensive and the worst maintained. Staff was nice and parking was good. Never went to any neighboring stores or restaurants.
