Days Inn by Wyndham Pierre

I didn’t stay … that dude was extremely rude so I left.

The staff was cool and helpful

good breakfast, clean rooms, soda vending machine in lobby. I like this place for cheap short stays.

The building felt small, not quite cramped but close.

Parking easy and convenient. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Great. Quiet & clean.

The room was very well kept up. It was clean and the only thing I could see missing was shampoo and another bar of soap for the shower. I was concerned that the outside door was not locked, or at least required a keycard to get in, during the night. Parking was tight and hard to find a place to park after my event was done in the evening. Outside the around the building was unsightly. Planters had weeds in them and there was trash around the parking area.

They were doing some remodeling in area. My room was very nice and modern. Staff was awesome. Location close to river was nice.

The room was fine if not particularly roomy. Nice extras like ironing board, iron, hooks, padded bench with storage under. Pad of paper and pen. The sink in the bathroom was way too small. It looked quite new but couldn't fill a water bottle, running water slashed out, hard to even brush teeth in the space. Big water stain above shower head. Half of water still came out the tub faucet while trying to take a shower greatly reducing water pressure. Damage on door, but it worked correctly. It's clear they are trying to modernize but thoughtful choices need to be made especially that sink. Nice decor. Breakfast had tons of seating and had it to myself. Nothing fancy but adequate, bagels, cereal, yogurt. I did not eat the egg disk or sausage that were available. Did have an apple. Ice machine was available in lobby area but the one closer to my room didn't work. Location very convenient minutes from Capitol area, food options available in walking distance, Subway, DQ, etc. And a wonderful park right on the Missouri River just 4 blocks away!

The room had been refurbished

Somehow the dates for my stay changed in the Hotels.com app and I booked the wrong week. My fault for not double checking the dates prior to booking. We didn’t realize it until my husband went to check in. Hotels.com told me to contract the property directly. I called and was sent a message to text them with what I needed. I did this right away and received no response. We booked for my husband to stay the first night of our planned stay and after staying the one night he said he would rather forfeit the money we paid then stay at the hotel. Per him, the toilet leaked and didn’t flush right, there were stains all over on bedding, furniture, floors. There was interesting people staying that had recliners set up out by a campfire in back. I would highly recommending looking for another hotel in Pierre as we have found some for a little bit more cost per night that were much nicer!

Don't let the outside fool you. The rooms are clean and newly remodeled. Our room was dusty on the floor but it just got ready for us at 8:30 or so in the evening. They are remodeling the entire motel. We had new everything. Sink, faucet, mirror, windows, window coverings, beautiful artwork on the wall. Beds were very comfortable. Fridge worked fantastic. Wonderful hot breakfast with a hard working attendant on duty. The bathtub like most motels tubs was very slippery. I slipped back in 2013 at another motel and broke a collarbone so I really wish all motels would automatically put a cheap rubber bath mat in each room. I carry my own! Once they update the outside paint (which they should if it's not in the plans) this will be a great location. Cheapest place in Pierre so it was surprisingly updated inside

Unfortunately this property has outlived its usefulness. Major structural issues, water stains everywhere, doors that won’t close correctly parking lot is basically gravel.

Rooms are decent and clean

I would not stay here again even though the Staff was very friendly. Although they are attempting to clean up and modernize the individual rooms/hotel, they unfortunately have a long way to go before I would consider it clean.

Bed bugs. Had to buy another room at a different location.
