This was one of our favorite hotels on a month-long road trip. Pierre isn't much, besides the State Capitol building, but the hotel made it enjoyable.

The room was clean but very dated. Especially the bathroom areas. We had a one bedroom suite. The living room furniture was newer.

The staff was friendly and our room was clean. The first room we got, the door didn't open. The hot tub wasnt working and the pool smelled funky.

My only “something to improve” comment would be not to park the hotel vehicle in the front entrance canopy as it takes up space where guests could be loading/unloading. We felt like we could not unload there and block others from doing the same by blocking a lane. We had 2 small kids and associated gear to unload so would be nice to do that at the front entrance. I appreciate staff wearing a name tag and I did not see that on the person who checked me in.

My second or third stay. We stayed 3 nights. My partner worked for three days at a desk in the room.

when we went to bed there was blood on the sheeets of one of the beds. we called the front desk and they offered to come and change the sheets but it was 11 pm and there was some of us that was sleeping at that time and did not want to wake them up. Also there was hair around the floor drain of the shower. We will never stay in this motel again. The desk clerk said she would make a note of this for this next morning. We did not talk to them the next morning as we were running late and was 2 peopple waiting the the desk.
