Americana Inn, a Travelodge by Wyndham

The location is about 7 minutes away from Smokey Mountains. It’s near Krogers and other grocery stores. It’s near plenty of attractions and restaurants. A room with a king sized bed is like an efficiency. It’s extremely small. There is no closet. You have to place your things in drawers. There were 2 of us staying for 8 days forced to share 3 small drawers. You have to unplug the microwave in order to watch television and vice versa. You have to request house keeping so it’s basically like being “home”. You take out your own trash. You must retrieve a clean face cloth, wash cloth and towel via the front desk/house keeping. The bathroom sink clogged and sometimes would stay clogged from that morning, after brushing your teeth, till the middle of the day. The gutters must be clogged because when it rains, there is a serious downpour of water leaking from the top of the roof down to each floor. This makes it impossible to reach your room without getting soaked. The Wi-Fi is nonexistent. It sucks and is not worth purchasing or even using. The bed was dented, unlabeled and uncomfortable.

I like how close it was to The Island My room didn't have a TV, coffee maker, or a microwave. The manager said he'd bring me one but never did. The room wasn't clean, and the casing on the door was off and didn't have a lock.

Location and price? There were no towels, no washcloths. There was no ice for a couple of days. Took 3 days to get my TV to work and to staff to come look at it. I would rate this place. Very bad. This is my second time staying there trying to give them another chance, but I don't think it worked this time either so I will probably pick a new hotel next time when I come to pigeon forge

The location! Very disappointing experience — would not recommend. Our stay at this hotel was extremely unpleasant. We encountered cockroaches in the room, molded food on the floor, and trash underneath the bed. The trash cans also had trash, nuts, and bugs in them. The pool was cloudy and had areas that were broken, and there were even rocks from the landscaping getting into the pool. The landscaping itself was poorly maintained and honestly looked disgusting. Overall, the cleanliness and upkeep of this property were far below what I would expect from a hotel. There were multiple issues throughout our stay, and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience from start to finish. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

Parking was super simple and easy, tons of space. The outside condition of the place could use a lot of TLC, paint jobs, weeds growing out of cracks in certain areas, just overall needs a little revamping. Front desk gentleman was very nice and answered all the questions I had. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the unmentioned $75 hold on the card. But understandable for getting a hotel room for $30. Never know what kind of people you could be hosting for that $ amount. But enjoyed the stay, we only really used it to sleep and for a quick shower. Would just suggest sprucing the looks and paint up!

The bed was hard but the room was very spacious didn't feel like we were on top of each other u have to ask for ice but it is free parking is good pool was warm could use some maintenance on the exterior need more pool chairs but over all perfect location

We got to the room it was full of roaches. Tried to get money back and said we would have to deal with it.

This place needs shut down. It is nasty. It has bugs. And they tried too put us in rooms people was already in. Don't stay here
