Margaritaville Island Hotel

Excellent

No way to have breakfast anywhere on or off property no where even available without getting in car and driving a couple miles away .

Ronnie and Chloe went above and beyond when checking in our vehicle and checking in.

The hotel was lovely. Clean, well maintained, a very fun location to be right in the center of. Room was spacious, huge bathroom with nice shower, and great to have a fridge and microwave available. I dinged the staff rating on my review, as that is where I had a very frustrating experience. The front desk staff who checked me in were fantastic. I believe the woman helping me was named Janae, and she was super friendly and helpful. At check-in I was provided with a couple vouchers for free margaritas. About 7pm, I went up to the rooftop pool and asked the bartender what time they closed that night, he informed me they closed at 10pm. Perfect, our plan was to let the kids play a while, then come up at the end of the night to get drinks and watch the fountain show from the roof deck. Cut to 9:50pm when I get to the bar to find the same bartender I spoke with earlier packing everything away. "Sorry, we closed at 9:45." Super frustrating. Even more frustrating was 5 minutes later when my wife went over to ask him a different question about where to find something in the hotel. As she was standing there another woman came up with her drink voucher and he took it and said he'd make her a drink. When my wife asked why he refused me 5 minutes earlier he shrugged, then gave the woman her voucher back and told her he had better not make her drink. That poor customer service experience left a bad taste in my mouth about the whole place. Unfortunate since the rest of the time was good.

The spa was amazing, clean rooms, great restaurants close walking distance. Dollywood was a dream come true!

Everything was great! I only wish they would have had an adults only pool.

Everything is as expected from a resort type hotel. Only complaint is we had river view which isn't much of a view, but that really isn't the hotels fault. Just will request village or fountain my next visit. It is part of the Island so there's plenty of dining options and any type shopping you can think of. Rooftop Pool and bar, with another bar downstairs that had live music. Staff was very nice and we received multiple discounts and free tickets to Island attractions. Our room had a rain shower and a very large modern jacuzzi tub.

Everything was great.

The location, so convenient to everything you need.

Wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back in the fall.

Loved the hotel and location. We had teens with us and everyone enjoyed the easy access to shops, rides, and restaurants.

Very clean We chose to have the Riverview because we like to sit outside when we got to our room, Our balcony only had one chair I requested another chair. I was originally told they had no other chairs to give us, that they had no extras and all the rooms were reserved so they could not take one from the other balconies. It wouldn’t be fair to the other guest. which at that point I raised my concerns that I paid just like everyone else and I want my other chair like everyone else was entitled to, after talking with a few people. I finally got my chair four hours later.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, friendly staff, great restaurants in and around the hotel. I walked outside the hotel and everything is only a few feet away. Nice pool at the hotel where I was able to get drinks and food without leaving the pool area. Restaurants, rides, shopping. I parked my car and didn’t have to leave my area anything until check out time.

This is a nice hotel and good location. I didn’t think it was worth the price we paid. You had to pay extra for parking and breakfast
